Bee and Lav
A dog who lives outdoors will never have long nails it keeps them worn down naturally, I have never had to clip a Dogs nails for being too long in 60 years that proves that point. I do not like to see White it is a recessive Characteristic and something which can lay dormant for generations or come out every generation

That may be true Steve if the dog actually runs about. The GSD I aquired was living outside since he was a pup and never been to the groomer a day in his life...ok well never been groomed even by the owner. He is 2yrs and when I got him his nails were long...the quicks were way back but the nails were daggers.I cut them and they are nice and short.Strangly enough I haven't bathed him since i got him but I have brushed him out cause he had so much under coat. His fur is shinny and he doesn't smell like a dog that has been outside all his life. My dogs that are indoors(cause I don't have a fewnced in yard)Their coat is not the best no matter what I have done and they get stinkier more then the other dog.

Another PP that goes along the lines of doggie parks is doggie day care when a crap load of dogs are thrown in an enclosure and the people running it "love dogs" but they don't know the first thing about dog behavior or warning signals that a fight is going to break out.

People that humanize dogs and let the dog rule the house as in "When Fido is on the couch don't bother him...he doesn't like when he is disturbed" Or "Throw him a treat as you are leaving so he won't come after you and bite you when you have your back turned"  GGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!

Oh goody a gripe list!!!!
Here are just a few off the top of my head

1) Long, curling nails drive me crazy too, and dogs that have never seen a brush
2) Gentle Leaders
3) Prong collars that are not properly fitted
4) At work when I am checking a dog in for a groom that is barking and snarling and snapping at me and the owner pets it, whispering "comforting words" like how I'm not going to hurt it, and what a good dog it is...
5) Dog parks
6) People who walk their dogs on Flexi leashes and don't pay attention to where there dog is or what/whom it's peeing on
7) People who let their dogs poop on the sidewalk (and my front yard) and  don't pick it up.
8) When my dogs have fresh water and still prefer to lift the lid and drink out of the toilet. It took me a full 10 seconds last
night to figure out why the toilet bowl had no water in it and the seat was wet and the lid was down.... DUH lol
9) People who insist they brush their long haired dogs every day when they are a solid mat. (I am going to edit this post
later with a picture, you guys are gonna TRIP OUT
) And then get MAD at me when I tell them since I have their 2
other dogs to groom (also long haired) it is going to take 5 hours....
10) People who have never trained a dog before and use Electric collars on  puppies (I told you guys about THAT!)
11) Morbidly obese dogs who swear their vet says the dog is at a healthy weight.

i agree with all of the above (cept for the cropped ears on apbts..lol..).

i cant stand when people feed poor quality food, but wonder why their dogs shed so much, have ear infections, no muscle tone & skin problems. DUH......they are either too stupid or too cheap to get a better food.

i was talking with a friend this am. she is a show breeder (not gsd). she will be breeding one of her bostons soon. the gyp dam near died the last litter she had from a calcium def. when i asked what she used for food, she tells me pedigree puppy. WTF. she gets $1800 for pet & $2200 for show quality but cant be bothered to feed a decent puppy food.

when i started talking about using a good quality food, she had every excuse in the book why she would still use pedigree. but she is worried about getting calcium pills into the bitch, then having to bottle feed the litter.....HELLO.....she is just too cheap to spend the money on something better. too boot, a boston doesnt even eat much food....

i just dont get it.

With that kind of post and list i think our Stacy is in a bit of a Temper , Best to let it all out. However it is all true there are some very uneducated Dog owners in this world,

I agree with a lot of the ones listed above but my biggest one would have to be when people move to a housing area outside town they act like they own the whole damn country.  Because there are no leash laws, they let their dogs and kids run wild. No matter how much the dogs pack up, run around and breed or whatever it's all OK because they can.  They poop in my front yard, come around to the back and fence fight with my dogd--I caught one kid out there last week hitting the fence at my male.  I about exploded.  Yes I went over and talked to his dad but he is as stupid and hick as they come.  In other words I am the fool because I keep my dogs up.
