But you'd get the same exact treatment I would if elected...I'd be assassinated long before I ever made it to inaugeration!
There has to stop being handouts..You want something, you work for it. The color of your skin or the country you come from guarantees you nothing more than anyone else...Want it? Work for it, like everyone else. It's time that we stopped handing out money to people to lay around and do nothing. Welfare programs need to be cut way down.
There are those who say "You want to get rid of welfare...What about Social Security?" To them I say, Social Security should only be available to those who have reached retirement age and have paid into it all their lives, or those who have paid into it and have become disabled. If you don't pay, you don't play. Harsh, as I know there are children who are getting Social Security for various reasons: parent on disability, or some other type of thing. But I also know a 19-year old man who is on Social Security Disability payments and the only reason he gets the money is because he has a learning disability that no one has every tried to help him overcome. Should he keep getting the check? Hell no. Get a job, like everyone else should. There is help for his problem, and he needs to seek it.
Either that, or maybe that money should be taken out of your check as a form of withholding, and should be deposited into a retirement account the gov't can't touch..Then you'd be paying into your own retirement (for those who don't bother to put some away, or those who can't afford to otherwise), and the gov can't squander it.
In addition to doing away with all the insurance companies, we should give tax credits or deductions to people, for every dollar they put into a health savings account. And that money should not be taxed when used, either.
Forcing health care down our throats isn't going to do anything at all. There will still be those who can't afford it, yet make too much to be considered for Medicaid or Medicare. And if the gov is paying for the Medicare and Medicaid programs, then also subsidizing private insurance for those unable to afford it, the costs will skyrocket far beyond any that have been predicted so far.
As the US population ages, there are fewer workers paying into the system, and more government waste of what money there is, you can bet that things are going to get VERY EXPENSIVE.
It's time to cut the pork and let people start learning that nothing in life is free or easy...If you want it, work for it. Nothing is guaranteed in life but hard work, dissappointment, and death.
That's just my opinion, and there are many who will disagree. I have no argument with them.

The real factors still lay in the Fact that our government has handed out benefits in every Human Resource office in the United States of America to any man , woman and child that has entered our country in the last 10 years and all they have to do is fill out an app and they get a card and they get aid , medicaid and substities. They never become citizens and our Social Security programs have paid for all this plus the bankrupt program of Medicare , that all of us that are born American, live American , fought like me in the war for America and I am gonna die an American. have already had taken out of our checks for years.
I did not give them permission to pay my money , I had withdrawn , as well as my xwife , my son or my daughter didnt either, to someone who just drifted into this country and decides to stay here and send money back to all his or her relatives somewhere else, but carry a FOOD STAMP card to buy his groceries every month and get free medical aid at every ER room in our country..I have sat in Dallas in the ER many a time and counted well over 29 foreigners with no doctor and can't speak our English and they get seen and they leave with meds to cure them. They fill the beds on every floor.
THIS is part of the problem. Putting the Palosei gang in charge of my money or yours is not gonna solve anything. They shouted today on national tv, that a recent survey , as OBAMA states now, is that Doctors over test, they over treat , so this is now gonna stop. SInce when did the US government have my authority to tell me, as if I am a kindergarden child, how many tests I want or I need or how and what I put in my mouth. Recent friend had to hide Limu in his 7-up that his Aunt got him on while recovering from hip surgery in the hospital and she researched it and it worked . He was up and after 4 weeks of rehab his hip and leg were almost like new. The doctors were amazed. The Flucodian in the natural sea nutrient had worked as he wanted. The doctors would not have let him take it or the nurse would not have, if he had done it openly.
WHY? He was a medicare patient and they have rules and if any patient is found not to abide by the rules and the list of only allowed medications, medicare can refuse to pay any or part or all of your bill.
Work , save, find out what natural ways to eat and be healthy. We do take too many drugs, we don't eat right and we morally are killing ourselves. Our ancesters ate of the earth , took means to keep healthy and they lived good lives. Some had fatal diseases but we do have new ways for eating and healthy means to live today that were not known about when our grandparents tried their best and did a pretty good job..I still use many remedies, rather than run to the Doctor, today.

If con is the opposite of pro, is congress the opposite of progress?

Biggest Lobbyists: Big Pharma.
I agree with you, Mindhunt, about the creation of diseases to justify medications. We are told that they have always been around, but now we can identify and treat them.
The idea of doing electroshock treatments or lobotomizing children...It gives me chills. How dare they!?
Human beings are not designed to sit like robots for six to ten hours a day. Children are naturally far more curious and active, and for that they are medicated. There are some disruptive children, but you know, back in the good old days, you acted out in class, and you got what for from the teacher, then when you got home...Boy, were you in for it. Children grew up to be fairly well adjusted, teens weren't full of angst and emotional problems, and everyone did fine. Now, we can't touch our children for fear that someone will report us and take our children from us, we have kids committing suicide because their lives are so horrible because they didn't have a good relationship or they didn't get that new IPod...And in school, we prescribe amphetamines to children. Yes, some of these drugs are amphetamines...Particularly one called Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate)...Read the three page ad in most Parents magazines...It will make you shudder. Side effects include: sudden death in people with history of heart troubles, stroke and heart attack in adults, increased blood pressure and heart rate, new or worse behavior and thought problems, new or worse bipolar illness, new or worse aggressive behavior or hostility, slowing of growth (height and weight) in children, seizures in people with history of seizures, eyesight changes or blurred vision. Common side effects include upper belly pain, dizziness, irritability, nausea, weight loss, decreased appetite, dry mouth, trouble sleeping, and vomiting. Also some side effects that have been seen include tics (involuntary movements in face or body). And this is not a complete list of side effects. It's given for the treatment of ADHD. Look it up on Shire LLC's webpage and read for yourself. What I would like to know is why you would prescribe a stimulant medication to someone diagnosed with ADHD...aren't they already active enough?
These drugs cause all kinds of problems, far worse than the scatterbrain condition they are supposed to fix. But hey, get a kid addicted to amphetamines at a young age, and you've got repeat business for life.
Sickening.
Big Pharma needs to be bankrupted.

This was just sent to me:
THey are up to their tricks and they want to put it thru before very many people find out what is inside hidden:
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
The Impudent Tyranny of Sen. Harry Reid -
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is proving once again the maxim that darkness hates the light.
Buried in his massive amendment to the Senate version of Obamacare is Reid's anti-democratic poison pill designed to prevent any future Congress from repealing the central feature of this monstrous legislation!
Beginning on page 1,000 of the measure, Section 3403 reads in part: ". it shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection."
In other words, if President Barack Obama signs this measure into law, no future Senate or House will be able to change a single word of Section 3403, regardless whether future Americans or their representatives in Congress wish otherwise!!
Note that the subsection at issue here concerns the regulatory power of the Independent Medicare Advisory Board (IMAB) to "reduce the per capita rate of growth in Medicare spending."
That is precisely the kind of open-ended grant of regulatory power that effectively establishes the IMAB as the ultimate arbiter of the cost, quality and quantity of health care to be made available to the American people. And Reid wants the decisions of this group of unelected federal bureaucrats to be untouchable for all time.
No wonder the majority leader tossed aside assurances that senators and the public would have at least 72 hours to study the text of the final Senate version of Obamacare before the critical vote on cloture. And no wonder Reid was so desperate to rush his amendment through the Senate, even scheduling the key tally on it at 1 a.m., while America slept.
True to form, Reid wanted to keep his Section 3403 poison pill secret for as long as possible, just as he negotiated his bribes for the votes of Senators Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Ben Nelson of Nebraska and Bernie Sanders of Vermont behind closed doors.
The final Orwellian touch in this subversion of democratic procedure is found in the ruling of the Reid-controlled Senate Parliamentarian that the anti-repeal provision is not a change in Senate rules, but rather of Senate "procedures." Why is that significant?
Because for 200 years, changes in the Senate's standing rules have required approval by two-thirds of those voting, or 67 votes rather than the 60 Reid's amendment received.
Reid has flouted two centuries of standing Senate rules to pass a measure in the dead of night that no senator has read, and part of which can never be changed. If this is not tyranny, then what is?
DON'T SIT BY AND LET THIS HAPPEN IN THE DARK!!!
Get a call into your representative and discuss this. The dishonesty of these men and women is enough to say NO we do not want this bill. If you do not stop it. , and some of these senators and representatives have not had time
