OK!........as long as you stop by the Chicago land area shows!
We have that WDA & UScA problem too........but we have dogs that are owned by people from each organization..?!
We can't NOT support the owners of the dogs......we need to go.
Well as long as we "ALL" get together as much as possible...it'll be fun.....stressful...but fun.

Yeah it's such a pain!!  I did not plan to show my dog in the USA SS this year anyway.  I have nothing against USA but I'm broke right now, it's not wise to pay their membership fee just to show my dog at one show where he is not a top contender anyway.  Since there are so many WDA shows near Chicago and our club as joined the WDA, there is no shortage of WDA shows and trials for us especially being close enough to Chicago.  I would like to show my dog at NASS at some point, not sure about this fall since he will have to have a title and be *just* 24 months old and I do NOT rush titles just for show, but I am planning on going either way.

"Also I am no longer a USA member, something about being a WDA member, in a WDA club, photography for WDA...doesn't look good for me I guess, lol."

If you're a couple, couldn't one of you belong to the WDA and the other belong to USA?  For that matter, does the rule state that the owner of a dog has to be a member or only the person entering the dog?  What's to stop people from paying someone else to enter their dog(s)?  LMAO!  Wouldn't that gripe their ass..if everyone figured out ways to circumvent their rule so that the only end effect was a drop in membership dues.

Keith....that is the situation for some of us.
We co-own dogs......so....one has kept their UScA membership.....one has kept their WDA membership.....a COMPLETE pain in the ass!
But until "something" changes,,,,that looks to be the only solution for some co-owned dog owners.

Keith, I belong to a WDA club and am active in WDA activities.  Nothing against USA, but they're asking people to make a choice and I've made mine.  My dog is owned by me and co-owned by my husband.  I'm sure I could enter the dog, but like I said before, I thought the last show was somewhat of a joke, I don't really have time or money for the show (already have alloted for other events that I enjoy more), and I'm not paying the entire membership fee to an organization I no longer care to belong to just to enter one show (plus show fee, handler.....).

I fully understand the issue, Leisjers...so I guess I'll be seeing you at NASS in October.  LOL!
