Even more important is find a vet who sends many of them to OFA and gets great results. He will know what he is doing better than one who doesn't and It seems OFA appears to give better result to familiar names. Bad positioning can take an OFA excellent dog from excellent to fair or even cause him not to get a rating.Always try to get a pic without knocking the animal out. It all about the positioning

I think a little over $200.00 covered mine OFA and everything.
Sedation, x-ray, submitting the forms.
My Vet does it all for that price.
Southern Indiana.

Hi NansGSD, I'd be happy to recommend my favorite Vet for X-Rays, Unsedated.
He is Alex Stern, DVM of 5 Star Veterinary Center
13725 Foothill Blvd
Sylmar, CA 91342
Phone is 818-362-6599
I'm going tomorrow with a pup from my "B" litter, Appointment at 11:15, for the X-rays $85. 3 yr Rabies $23.50 and a Microchip $45. I'll be out EZ by noon.
Trish :)
You can also put this vet in on a google search, and read some good stuff.
