Congratulations!  He looks great.  Love that confident expression after his big trip.  Go-o-o-o-o-o, Eric!

Thank you everybody!

I'm going to try to get some more - better - pictures today if I can get him to stand still long enough!

In the meantime a cute story.

In the middle of 2009 I had to put down *my* cat.  This cat had been with me from a kitten and was very much a 'single person' kitty.  He was also the first one of my pets where *I* had to make the call to put him down.

Anyway, he used to crawl into my shoes and slippers -after my scent I suppose- and snuggle them.

Eric has taken to carrying around one of my slippers as a woobie.  He never chews them, he just carries it.  Last night I left the crate door open for him in the bedroom and without thinking crawled into bed, kicking off my slippers.  Early this morning as I was groping around for the slippers so I could let the dogs out I could only find the one.  I looked down at my newly aquired slipper thief and said "Eric ... slipper?"

Damn if he didn't duck into his open crate and reappear with the slipper in question.  Seems someone wanted "Mom's" slipper to sleep with last night.

He could have torn the slipper into shreds but again, it was fine -a bit moist- and he handed it over all proud of himself.

It's funny how the animals in our lives bring back the good memories of the ones who have already come and gone out of our lives.
