I just contacted Clay County Animal Services and was told Roman was picked up yesterday by K9 Services so hope he has already found a new home. That face just broke my heart. I don't know how anyone could have just dumped him off like that.

Thanks to everyone who stepped up!  I don't understand people who can do this.  If you can have a dog until he is 6yrs old and just dump him like yesterday's trash...you would have to be emotionally crippled.  How could you walk away from that face?  Grrrrr  I'm with you Steph, people suck.

Yeah, I guess someone pulled him at closing time yesterday, and today we were all geared up to get him before the Big End. But he is still in a rescue looking for a home. 

OMG i can't believe his nails!!! That is a pet peeve of mine!! I would like to see the person that had him try to walk or do anything with nails like that!!! Poor thing looks older then 6 though....probably from such a crappy life.Hope he found a good loving home and is cared for now. Steph where do I get pictures of all the dogs you have at your place that need homes? I will post it on the FB page I made for the Humane Society here.They are full but they won't turn dogs away and there are some great foster people here.
