Keep in mind though that the BH is "not a title", but merely a pre requisite to obtain a title ...... and for any police officer putting a DPO/WPO title on a dog the BH is "not" required ........................   Greg

Am I reading this right?  Are these guys REALLY charging $1,250 for a 16 week course to prepare handler/dog team for a BH?????..................... Plus  they must have taken a 2hr private lesson for $180 as a  prequisite for the BH course????.............................ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

The BH is just basic ob, traffic safety, temperment test.

The meaning has been explained above. But, its not a title. It's a prerequisite to a title. If you want to compete with your dog for sch 1, you have to have a BH first.
