Luvdemdogs,

I read your post twice looking for the part where you were joking, but I didn't find it. A "street level pharmaceutical salesman" is a drug dealer. I'm fairly certain it was a joke. But, to say that a public employee receiving insurance through his employer is socialized medicine is the same as saying a public employee that has a mortgage on his home that is paid for by his salary, lives in public housing. Nice try, though.

What ever happened to DR?

As usual you are wrong rayray, the Late Senator Ted Kennedy read many different books to public school kids over the years, and as a matter of fact, he donated every penny of the net proceeds of the chidren's book he penned to charity. Don't bother wasting your breathe telling us how you don't think he donated enough, since you obviously have done nothing yourself.

luvdemdogs - I'm sorry you failed to find the humor in the posts between me and Ron. Yes we know each other and yes we were kidding with one another. You see some who differ politically can joke and respect each others opinion. I only posted what I do for a living in response to Sue who asked someone to post their years of public service.

(it is widespread and prevalent and police officers cannot be held to a higher standard f intelligence and understanding)

WOW and what do you base this opinion on? I can tell that you are so much more intelligent and understanding then me by the fact that you don't get basic humor, and the fact that YOU are intolerant of people who have different political opinions then you. I would love to hear your bad cop story, you must have one since you obviously have an ax to grind with the police. lol

Rainforestscouts addressed you ridiculous health care comparison, so in closing, put down the pot pipe, pick up a bic razor and shave your legs and arm pits, buy Marc Levin's great book Liberty and Tyrrany and expand your mind! ( this would be humor) :~)

Fitz - I apologize. I did take the wrong thing from your post - although calling someone a drug dealer is hardly adeqate in terms of debate, LOL! I absolutely can joke with and respect someone with different political views - I cannot respect someone who would use the bullying tactic of personal information to gain credibility on a forum - and again, I do apologize to you. It appears it went sailing so far over my head that I didn't even feel the wind from it, LOL!

rainforest scout - hey! I do like your analogy of the subsidized housing! I may use that in the future. :)

BTW Fits - I don't have a bad cop story - I have dozens. Thankfully, I also have the tools to deal with those cases that come across my desk. :)

Au contraire, we know a LOT about you. Your posts reveal you quite well (LOL). All anyone has to do is do a search on this board for your posts. Well folks....that whole drug dealer comment was absolutely inappropriate (besides being absolutely false) but, I didn't take it seriously (like the majority of things on this forum). I'm quite comfortable who I am. I do know Mike and would not put any personal info...whether true or false on a public forum.

The main reason I responded to Fitz152...before I knew who it was...was to remind someone who is a police officer to rmember that the position carries a higher degree of scrutiny and responsibility than most!

The world in a big place folks and we are ALL in this together whether you want to believe it or not. The economy tanked all over the world...people ALL over the world need assistance....and some who thought they were immune to this are now feeling the pressure! I have a family living with me and my wife and 3 kids when both parents lost there jobs....Wall Street big wigs....half million dollar home...hummers...all gone! There kids ( 2 at Princeton 1 at NYU) had to drop out of college...no money! Both parents work at Shoprite now! When I read all the nonsense here about liberal vs conservative....I laugh...and wonder how a people can be so caught up in rhetoric while the masses suffer! Realize...all who think they are immune are next in line!
