ARrgh...was almost ready to post my reply, and the computer ATE it! :(

I see a decent showline pedigree, with mom and dad having good but not spectacular conformation. Hope you don't mind if I just point out the areas of concern.

There are lots of well-known names, however, I don't like the number of A2 hip ratings especially on the sire's side. I would get the pup's hips done as soon as possible.

Sire has an apple-domed skull and too much stop, but that seems to be what people like with the SL's these days, even though it's contrary to the breed standard. Pasterns are also a bit long and weak.

Sire's V-rating may/may not mean anything. It depends a lot on WHERE it was obtained, and how many other males were in the class. If it was at the Sieger show, hey, that's something special. If it was at a local show with 5 or 10 other dogs in the class, that's a different story.

Looks good, I like him. Good bone on him, and nice angulation: not too little, not too much. However,I can't really see his head in that photo. You need to take some shots where' there's better lighting.

You might want to start bracing that floppy ear to try to get it to stand.
