Scentlogix makes a very good product Duke, NESTT makes some good ones too, however, I do prefer to do imprinting on the "real" thing, when available and than switch to pseudo.

I agree hired dog, but crossing borders with real stuff is complicated

Some police department make it a clear condition that the bomb detection dog they are looking for to buy is trained on actual smell of real various bomb components, not artificial smells. That is why those departments buy their dogs from breeders who have permit by their givt. to have and store real bomb constituents.

I know and agree Ibrahim, but here in europe we sometimes cross 4 borders a week, so that is why I look for alternatives when testing dogs in other countries
