I was going thru some old pictures I have on the computer of Aiko. He was my German showline male that passed away 2 years ago. In looking at his pictures of when he was 6 months and then as an adult, it made me think of what other peoples dogs looked like at these ages.
So lets see what your dog (past or present) looked like at 6 months and then again as an adult. It doesnt matter if they are showline, working line, Czech, DDR...etc.
RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS...
Stacked pictures only.
The first picture is when the dog is 6 months old
Then the 2nd is as an adult (1 year or over)
Please critique the dogs...Did the improve with age, overall impression...etc..
Since my dog Aiko was what made me think of doing this I will post him... Please feel free to comment on him as well...

Most recent stack, Aug 2013 (a few weeks shy of 5 years)

I snapped that above pic with a crappy lens so the color is bad, but I liked the stack. He's actually a very, very deep/rich red. More recent photo from last week, natural light and no color correction. I should stack him now, after this insane winter he has such a wonderful coat (above was HOT summer, he was naked out of coat!)

Xeph, As you already know I have always loved your bi-color girl. I am still in love with her now at 2 yrs old. I was told by many of the foundation showline breeders, that what you have at 5 mos old is what you will have as an adult. I think your girl is the perfect example to prove that to be true. LOVE THAT GIRL!!

Thanks, Hutchins! She has surprised me in the BEST way with how she has grown up!! I entered her in her first rally trial, and she should have her title in the next two months! I tried to go for her RN last year, but she came into season EVERY freakin' time!
Our fortunes have also turned in the last week, and we're going to start herding again!! SO excited! Also hoping she finishes in the next 2-4 months. Babies this year!
