Male, 13 months old. 73 pounds and 24-25 inches tall. Would love any sort of critique, as I plan on showing him this fall and would like to have some sort of idea what I'm getting into! Much appreciated :)
Sorry the stacks arent the best, I have no help so have him 'stay' in position as best he can.

Hi,,I am no expert in giving critique, but I will say that he has quite the handsome face,I like his mask,,Nice coat, color, pigment,,,In my opinion your picture is distorted and makes your male appear stretched, ,,,I would try to post another...:) What is his breeding?...

Thank you Ruger1. Maybe they didnt post right on here (still trying to figure that out lol), they look normal on my computer but distorted from my phone. Gonna try and figure out if I can fix that. Here's his pedigree http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=1937716-valco-berlin-vom-hokschhaus

I think the angle the picture is taken is not the best for giving critiques. Picture should be taken move level with the dog's back. These seem as though they were taken from someone sitting on the ground with a slight upward angle to the camera. JMO.
But I do like that Zamp dog.

I find what Hutchins explained above very helpful for taking better pictures in future.
He is beautiful, very good front and hind angulation, very good withers, very good head piece. Hocks are good and a very good thigh. I only find his croup slightly short and steep, otherwise all is good.

Guess I will never understand the techie stuff !
OP's dog looks quite short-bodied on MY laptop
in the first set of pix; but after Ruger thought he
appeared 'stretched' (?) and the second set were
posted he now looks longer, maybe a little too
long for my preference, on the page. Huh ?
Oh, yeah, he's very nice, for a coat. Good structure
[aside from confusion about just what his height
to length ratio is !]; sl. steep in upper arm perhaps;
nice depth of pigment; good head and expression;
agree with Ibrahim on the croup. Can't see his feet.
Tail looks a little too long.
Usual caveats about cannot assess temperament,
movement, dentition, etc from photos.
Please don't let him get too heavy.

Jeez, I hope your dog doesn't like this in person. He is so out of proportion that I don't even know where to begin. I suspect it has more to do with the camera angle than the dog, so I would highly suggest you try again and get help next time with the stacking and picture taking.
