GSD with a broken tail at the end - Page 1

Someone who is just starting out in schutzhund had her dog out where I was.  Seems after he was returned to her after being altered, the end of his tail waved differently than the rest of his tail.  Owner thought that it was broken by a cage door.  Is there any problem with this injury?  Think the husband does not want to have it fixed, she is thinking about it.  Told her I'd post here.  She lives in the area of Torrance, CA, so if anyone knows of a good tail fixing vet, please post of me off this list.
