Police Brutality Incident Leads to Raid, State of Emergency

Welcome to Colwyn, Pennsylvania, where cops taser each other for giggles, and the mayor declares a state of emergency after county agents raid the police department in the course of an investigation into the torture of a local teen in a jail cell. Followed, of course, by a fistfight between residents and police at a borough council meeting.

The current trouble revolves around allegations that three Colwyn police officers tased 17-year-old Da’Qwan Jackson while he was handcuffed and locked in a holding cell. A witness to a fight, Jackson was being held on the usual standard-issue disorderly conduct charge after refusing to cooperate with investigating police and crumpling up a citation.

It truly gives one pause does it not, and would be funny if it wasn't a bit scary once you have time to really think about it.

Half caught something on Brit TV the other day that referred to Police tazering a "12-year old girl".  Didn't get the details, ... but if its true it beats the teenager in a cell story.  I despair !

Ya, I just hear about those china health pills last week, did you hear about Pepsi useing the same ingredients ? I listen to Alex Jones on my Android everyday and he mentioned it yesterday .. CRAZY !!

The kid is lucky he's not dead. There does seem to be some problem with using tasers, IMHO, because here in CT, there have been more than a few deaths over the years. And some of the ages of the dead and tased are very young! And I'm not going to get into the good cop, bad cop thing, just that "we" the public are under the wrong impression that a taser gun won't kill you.

The truth is, for some people it does kill them. How do we know which ones, is something that is found out, only after the fact. IMHO

And I wonder about some of the one's that died after being tased while in custody. Without reading all the listed cased, I know the CT one's involve resisting arrest and often bizarre accompanying behavior. I wonder if being high on some of the illegal and powerful drugs, and being tased, can increase the chance of death?

Not sure 87, 63, 14 and 12 year olds are high on anything. Not sure some of the mentally ill are high on anything but mental illness. I wonder if all cops go through being tased just once if it would give them second thoughts of tasing anyone? But my guess is they are not brave enough to volunteer to be tased full power, they may die.

Watch the video of the 14 year old being tased for running when she did nothing wrong. They knew where she lived and could easily find her but used a taser on a young girl. Cop must have felt threatened by her running. Sad.

Oh and lets not forget the link of the autistic boy tased for being disruptive and not wanting to get his picture taken.
