How much money did Washington recently spend to train Chinese prostitutes to drink more responsibly on the job? (Choose one.) - I'll help........

Incredibly, Washington is spending $2.6 million training Chinese prostitutes to drink more responsibly on the job. This is the kind of wasteful spending that President Obama and Congress have stubbornly refused to cut. Instead, they planned to raise taxes on families and entrepreneurs by trillions of dollars! Only action by citizens like you will break the Washington liberals of this kind of frivolous splurging.

You rely too much on right-wing websites, SM!

A little research would have revealed some additional information: namely it was under George Bush that the funding was approved

Yes, we know that your concern is spending - no matter who is the president - but rather than cite President Obama and Congress, you should have pointed out that it was approved under Bush!

LOL @ Bush.

Yep folks, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. For the 3rd straight year the US Government has been running up a deficit of 1 (one) Trillion dollars. That's 12 zero's to the left of the decimal or 1 (one) thousand billion. Cute number huh ?

No country in the history of the world has ever for 3 straight years (even) ran up a deficit of 1 trillion dollars. Can't blame Bush for that.

Interesting to note.. China for the first time has become the NET seller of US Treasury Bonds. Ruh Roh, what does that mean Shaggy ? That means grab a front row seat and enjoy the expolsion because the Bond BUBBLE is about to POP !!!

Meanwhile, anyone hear about the first time Chinese delegate to attend the 2011 Bilderberg Conference ? Evidently he was sent there to reiterate China's warning in person to the heads of US Government .. any more planned attacks on Pakistan and China will interpret it as an act of aggression against Beijing. Or something like that, I of course paraphrased.

Ohhh no Shaggy, you can't be cereal.  LMAO

Sorry Sistasmom, Bush still ran up the budget more than any other president.  The taxes being raised are against the richest Americans and the oil and gas companies.  Didn't know that families were the richest Americans or oil and gas companies.  Now republicans on the other had want to cut spending on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security which is what many Americans rely on when they are sick, injured, disabled, unemployed, underemployed, and/or retired.  I am all for making the richest Americans and oil/gas companies FINALLY pay the taxes that the rest of us are paying.  But then again I am one of those "overpaid, evil union member" firefighters (retired).

Who said I liked Bush?

by keepthefaith on 09 July 2011 - 21:07

Hmm! Took you three days to come up with that lame excuse, SM?

No one said you liked Bush - but when you provide a news item that  specifically relates to Bush's presidency why bring up Obama in that context when it has nothing to do with him?

The right wing website that are the sole source of your knowledge had this specific news item but they conveniently omitted that it occurred under Bush ........... but they were counting on the "ditto-heads" to lap it up, which they did hook, line and sinker!

It specifically says that we have to stop frivilous LIBERAL spending.

The spending cited was frivilous CONSERVATIVE spending.
