the handler for Hill last year told me that Hill will be shown this year. Of course that was last month things could have changed but that is what i was told.

Ando has produced some good dogs but placing him up from or as a sieger is still pushing the same lines. Ando is linebred on jeck noricum. which is the same lines as dux,and Ursus lines. Just because its not a ursus line dog doesn't stop the the fact the its a linebreeding.

What are you talking about? Ando is not finished... I don't think. As of matter of fact the owner of Boy vom Tonsbrock will be leaving on Aug 28th to go to germany into supporting Boys sire in the sieger show. I'm sure that Rocky and Atlas will be there as well. Where did you hear that Ando is finished Gertrude Besserwisser? Also where did you hear that Hill is finished too? Are you just starting up rumors without giving us the facts? Not cool if you are.

by Gertrude Besserwisser on 19 August 2005 - 22:08

When I say they are finished I mean as far as being shown in the working dog class ring is concerned. They are both expected to show a progeny group which explains, in part, why good sons of both dogs are being brought to the Sieger Show. I am not starting rumors. No, the owners of Ando & Hill have not personally told me they are not being shown. However, look at the Landesgruppen show results. These are the incontrovertible facts as to who is being shown. You will notice that neither Hill nor Ando have won any of these. As far as I know, they have not even been shown. It is virtually unheard of for a dog (even a prior year's VA) to not be shown in Landesgruppen zucht shows and then suddenly be shown (let alone do well) at the Sieger Show. While I have seen the results from most of the shows, I have not seen the results from of all of the Landesgruppen shows this summer so it is possible they were shown. If so, and if they won or did really well, then you will see them in the ring. But as I say, I am unaware that this is happening and if its not, then their ring career is over.

Hello all Hill will be shown and stood V2 to Erasmus last week under Scheerer. For me if Zamp goes VA then Quantum may run very close. If Dux de Cuatro Flores or hanibal Steiglerhof run VA then Hill will be Sieger. Larus has beaten Hill last week but he Needs a VA son or Daughter to pull off the double like his father Yasko. Erasmus progeny may also be good for him. Then as you say we are limited to Ursus Quen v Loher Weg who stood 4 places above Karats Ulk last week under Scheerer. See you at the Sieger Show! So for me Quantum or Erasmus or Hill depending on who will be there and who can perpetuate their sires line. Next Year will probably be Orbit's Year.

Draken, thank you for this information. I had been looking for the results of last week's shows but found no ergebnisse on any of the LG sites. Do you have an URL where the results are posted by any chance?

by Gertrude Besserwisser on 22 August 2005 - 19:08

I finally found the results of last week's LG show under Scheerer. Both Erasmus & Hill were shown. The results are below. what is the URL that you got this off of?

by Gertrude Besserwisser on 22 August 2005 - 22:08

Could find no URL so I e-mailed 2 friends in Germany (one is a breeder the other an SV Breed judge) and both e-mailed me the results back. I think I have seen them posted elsewhere since getting the e-mails, but I am not exactly sure where...
