Hello, i'd like to know what's the difference between Vom fiemereck and vom team fiemereck. Who is Martin steffen ? On the site www.fiemereck.com the owner is juergen wicht.

Marin Steffen is the owner of the Fiemereck Kennel and the Kennel has been in existence since around 1955 if I understood Martin correctly. Jurgen teamed up with Martin a few years ago and formed Team Fiemereck. The two worked together breeding and showing. You will see kennels expanding and forming another kennel name similar to the first. As kennels reach the limit of the numbers of litters they can register, they need to increase capacity. You may notice more and more kennels with 'Team' preceeding the kennel name. Team seems to be the popular name addition.

Hello Diego, Martin Steffen is the owner from the kennel vom Fiemereck. Many years ago, he met Jürgen Wicht, and he teached him how to train dogs and breed GSD. In the beginning Jürgen bred on the kennelname Fiemereck, but then he decided to have his own kennelname and so he created the kennel vom Team Fiemereck.

And, I might add that Jurgen does care where he ships his puppies to and to whom and keeps in touch. Of course he most likely keep the best for the kennel, but you do get a good healthy puppy from him. They flight puppies all over the world. He is in fact the only person or kennel that does keep in touch after releasing a puppy and helping out with any problems if one has any on his puppy. I have bought from other kennels only to never hear again from them. Just an added note, Jurgen is to my knowledge the only one that does the selling too. That is whom you deal with in asking questions and buying a puppy or dog. Pat
