Donna was imported to Canada at approximately the age of 4.   She was a retired show dog.

Auntie Jeannie sent her to be a champion for my grandmother and her sister.  Aunt Cis was bed ridden with arthirits and Donna could often be found snuggled into her keeping her company and warm.

After school my sister would come home and take her for a play in the park.  Donna then spent the evening upstairs with my family.  ( We lived in same building 4 floors apart).

My sister and Donna where very close and I was very jealous because Donna would sleep on her pillow and being 7 years yonger then my sister I was told that I moved too fast for an older dog ....

Donna was a monkey and was feed specially prepared chicken dinners, where she would carefully select out the peas, lick off the gravy and leave the peas lined up in a row beside her dish.  I believe her protest over the peas was to remind mom that my sister didn't like them too.

After my aunt passed away, Donna had to go live with my other sister and her husband as the specail rental agreement to allow the dog was no longer applicable for our family.  Donna was a very very pampered dog in her old age.  She lived until ~18 years of age, and had to be put down after developing a Brain tumor.  As she aged and had trouble chewing my brother in law would puree her food and place her in a chair at the dinner table so he could assist her eatting.  

Donna was not use to the harsh winters in Canada, actually more for the snow / salt on her paws, so my brother in law got her baby socks to assist her walking.

At family functions we waited in anticipation until Donna and Una did their ritual territory dance and chased each other over the living room.  After Donna told Una she was happy to see her daughter they would snuggle up together in the royal blue velet chair in the living room.  Our family who just loved these dogs often sat on the floor rather then to distirub these White Beauty's.

Although both our girls are long gone, our love for them and the breed continues.....

Una was imported to Markham,ON, Canada.   She was no longer a show dog after a car accident.

She was a very sweet girl who lived to ~18 years of age.

She did have skin issues poor thing.

Champion McAlpin's Merrie Huntress is known as Tally Ho.  Her mother and son are the Westies in the Cesar Dog Food commercials.

I can update that Adamstown Victoria had 2 brothers/littermates, Adamstown Victor and Adamstown Vincent who were adopted together.
