You are right about the crate I didn't realize Hodie was factoring in Crate and health certifacate. Crate was $50 and health certificate was like $35. Price of pup is another story. I don't buy showlines so I know nothing about those prices my pup is Czech/DDR working line. Still cost me a pretty penny though.

Most breeder websites do not list prices ~ why should the Market place be any different? Sales/Business 101. As the saying goes "if you have to ask you can't afford it".

I also think that people should check their spelling when putting up an advertisement. As far as price...It would be nice if the breeder puts up the price... it shows that their not hiding the prices. It will also cut back on the large sums of emails that they get.

well I have to admit that I type faster than I can think.....I type pretty fast and sometimes will make mistakes, and I can't spell...shame this thing doesn't have spell check...at least we can make out what they are wanting...some people don't have english as a first language and they do the best they can....wish that was my problem...lol Heather

Oh dear Brittany... It seems so ironic to me that you are telling people to check their spelling before they post. Maybe you should re-check your last post. "it shows that THEIR not hiding the prices" Try "they're", as in "they are" next time. I don't see why the prices need to be advertised. Every breeder is different. Every dog is different. For those that are seriously interested, they can contact the sellers. For those that are "window shopping," do so at conformation shows and trials. Contacting the breaders just to find out pricing knowing you will not purchase is really just a waste of time for most breeders. It is not fair to them. For newer readers, this topic has been started before: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/4562.html#4610 And for Brittany, here's the one you started last year: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/12796.html This last one above was the first I remember reading about this topic here and actually gives a lot of information from breeders as to why they don't advertise prices.

Whoops, I meant breeders. I'll spell check myself next time too. :)
