Obtaining pedigree papers for my pup - Page 1

Hey, First off, Very informitive site. I've been having alot of fun researching my dog's bloodline. My question is, how do I go about registering my puppy? He's 8 months old, his parents are: Sire: Daxo od Hranicnej Rieky Dam: Utta Cevaro Schh2, IPO2, SVV2 A-Hips Neither of the parents are in this site's database, but I have pedigree information on both parents. My pup's grandparents, gg and ggg grandparents are on the site. Do I have to wait until my pup is a certain age to get him rated before I get papers, or is it as simple as some mail to somewhere? If you mean just registering him on this site you can do it yourself, starting with his grandparents. Go into "register a dog" in the top left column and first register his parents. A form will pop up asking for all their information (parents, sex, reg. numbers, titles, etc.) once you have his parents registered then do the same with his information.

If you are talking about registering your dog with the registry it was bred under (like AKC, SV etc.) you need to contact his breeder if he isn't registered yet. Upon purchase or shortly after you should have recieved a registration form from the breeder. If you have not recieved them yet it is cause for concern and needs to be addressed immediately.
