Website coming soon.

Is this a registered non-profit organization

Not yet, but that's in the works. It takes some time and some money. Donations are not tax-deductible at this time.
I can tell you one thing for sure, however: Its DEFINITELY non-profit!
I work a second "moonlight" job to support it.

Many thanks for the camera to take better pix of the dogs for FB and the upcoming website.

Good news! A couple with two acres near Lodi, CA are coming to meet Indy tomorrow. They have been searching for a full-time companion GSD to live in the house. If they like her and the home visit results in approval, Indy might have the Furever Home she so deserves in just a few short days. :-) X your fingers for Indy-girl.
Pictured below, at the shelter, where she nearly died of pneumonia, too weak to stand and walk without help, with a raging flea dermatitis, at 44 lbs. skinny, weak and malnourished...

... and now.

Indy and her new family. She took to them like a duck to water, even trying to get in their laps on the sofa to give them kisses. She is a house/dog, but has a huge yard to "help" maintain with her folks.
I look forward to visiting them on my way to work dogs down their way from time to time. They are also interested in a male, perhaps an older dog, ready to fit right into the household, but they're in no big hurry. I'm sure I can find them just the right boy to complete the family. Thanks Steph, for your awesome adoption contract.
Don't'cha love happy endings?

Indy is so beautiful!  My heart breaks seeing that photo of her lying on the cot.

Looking forward to your Website! I don't do FB.

Congrats on placing Indy. All three of them look very happy.

The pic of her flat on her side on a cot with goop coming out her nose and mouth on my screen July 3 is what caused me to hop in the car, grab some heavy drugs from my vet, and drive 450 miles south, praying she'd live till I got there. She was in the infirmary, NOT expected to live through the day. A lot of thanks goes to Coastal GSDR, who arranged for me to pull her in their name, and has pulled 2 more "resuce only" dogs for me since.
It takes a village to save a dog sometimes, especially when the logistics are seemingly unsurmountable.
