Hello All Pros,

I have a question for you on a side door wire crate. I have a 26 inch big male, about 2 yr old Showline GSD and I am looking for a crate that fits in the 3rd row area of my 2011 Toyota Highlander.

I got a Top Paw 30in, 32in, 26 in wire crate from Petsmart. But it fits width wise but the height 30in is a little too much as I couldnt slide it in to the car from the rear (It gets struck at the topside corners). The sides at the top are curved.

I want my kids to be able to sit in the 2nd row and my boy in the back in a crate. I found one sometime but it has no side door which made me put the dog in and then lift the crate and put it in the car. Which is not an option.

 Any sggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

I dont know if they make them anymore, but there was a crate that was slanted in the front to fit trucks and such

Check some of the K9 (LEO/SAR) supplies websites.

UK has a lot of slanted wire crates, if you can't find one in the US.
