A friend of mine just got a 9 week old pup, both ears are up but the one is curled back at the tip. Will it fix on its own or does she need to tape it foreward?

At nine weeks, don't be concerned.It will take care
of itself if it is up and just curled back. 9 weeks
is pretty young for a pups ears to be up.

nine weeks is very young to have any concern nine months maybe! .
if you tape other problems can occur.

avoid taping at all cost.
large beef bones (chewing) will solve most ear instability.
