"Some of the docs are already planning on leaving to do something else."

Bullshit propaganda.

I'd like to know how people pay all the healthcare costs for multiple dogs yet can't afford to pay the cost for themselves. What's next people don't want to pay for ? We already pay healthcare, food, housing' plus give cash via welfare. Now ObamaCare will put everyone who isn't on welfare - on welfare. Great. Then all the government will need to do to finalize the fate of freemarket capitalism is fire everyone who has a job that does provide employee healthcare. YAY then everybody is equal. LOL Or maybe just hire some company like Bain Capital to gut the businesses to death.. oh wait, isn't Romney running for President ? LOL

About the FULL ObamaCare Repeal I mentioned earlier in this thread -- an hour ago Reed brought it to the Senate Floor and then withdrew his own motion. That killed the bill and means the Senate will not have a chance to vote on it.

Unbelievable. That POS had to do that BS because if Rand would have brought it to the floor it would have passed. Unbelievable.

Tale Of Two Doctors

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week
, and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then pending the review boards decision on his age and remaining value to society.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet. The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care...

In November if He and his Czars get another term we'll all have to find a good vet.

You think so Keith... NOT. I already know of a few...then again you don't work in the medical field. Propaganda? Really?

Ok to be fair there are the ones who don't speak English, obtained their medical degrees in other countries, some who have lost their Board  Cert status to malpractice lawsuits, or ones we really wouldn't have work on our dogs.

No need to lie about it. So where is the propaganda in that?

"I'd like to know how people pay all the healthcare costs for multiple dogs yet can't afford to pay the cost for themselves. "

Well, let me tell you.

My young dog has fortunately been healthy and has needed no more than an annual exam, shots, and heart/flea medications. Certainly nothing that minor penny pinching can't handle.  I can make dinner for two people for a $1.00.

Now my older dog has cancer.  He is an oversized German Shepherd and they charge by the pound for chemotherapy.

If it were dependant on me and my pay check to foot these bills...well, the money just is not there.  I would have had to euthanize my best friend.

So how do these vet bills get paid?  Why my 88 year old mother donates her monthly social security check to pay these bills.  Isn't that nice?  Welcome to other people's reality.

Well, why don't you start a nation wide petition 4 a motion an have taxpayers fund all dog/pet related healthcare .. I'd say now is a ripe time to get it passed as a "penalty" tax with armed IRS taskforce supports.

Or if you can't afford your dogs maybe you should concider finding someone who can.

Some people, like me, can't afford extraordinary vet bills but find a way to do so.

Others can easily afford it but choose not to do so.

So what really is your point about not being able to afford my dogs XXXXXXXXXXXXX?  That my dog is unfortunate because I found a way? Or that he would have been better off in a home that could, but would not, pay for his bills?

IT is not  BULL CORN>. Doctors all over Texas in TYLER area are leaving and closing practices .The rest are putting up signs in offices..NO NEW MEDICARE PATIENTS and no MEDICAID PATIENTS seen.  YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY DR< TAKE YOU AS A PATIENT no matter what OBAMA says.

I will post names as I find them. I have a TEXAS agency in charge of my son and they advised us last week...THEY ARE OUT OF FUNDS for REHABILITATION..so what now??

52 Doctors refused to treat my son as he is a WORKMANS COMP patient...injury 19 yrs ago...needs and has been begging for a dr for 6 yrs. Cannot find DRS that are ORTHOS and can treat him and without a DR you do not work and you do not eat and you lay for ever waiting!! I walk those shoes.

Because he cannot go back to his former job discription, he is not qualified now for DARS> HE has to go stand on a corner with a can.  THINK I AM KIDDING>> THe explosion was this afternoon at 2 pm. Pain level is at 10 plus, and now no DR> again.   THey want him to sign a paper he will go back to electrician..with no leg , no prosthesis and rds and neurophaty and neurosis in a half of foot crushed and half gone.???  yeah right .  Drs do not get paid by Ins.com. when you are a WC recipient and they deny all treatments and have no passion for humans. THEY are people abusers. I could write a book and today was top review. I am contacting my congressman Monday..

Dr ROSA of Reklaw , Tex is closing 2 clinics..he cannot keep open with any more mandates and Medicaid and medicare are denying all kinds of treatments.

Ellis Rehab close this week in TYLER>  THEY are being denied a lot of MEDICAID and MEdicare moneys for REHAB and the money situation forced them out.

I have never had many vet bills..THERE are ways at home to treat minor things..I never needed a vet but for OFA..
THE ones I have know what my dogs are and they support me giving my own shots , wormers and supply me with OXY and anything I need in my kennel at anytime.  I buy my supplies from www.revivalanimal.com and my vet sells me the big bottles of things like Albon suspension...
  MY dogs supported themselves..lol

I always had money to work with till last 6 yrs so I do not fit in to the no afford..I do now but I am retired...

NOT accustomed to a vet bill .. Knock on wood...
