It's time for Atlas to give a big heave instead of shrugging !!! The supreme court ruling upheld obamacare as constitutional under tax law, not commerce. So y'all get ready to have the federal government start telling you what kind of groceries you can bring into your home. If they got away with calling the insurance mandate a tax, what's to stop them from calling money for kale a tax. SUCKS A BIG FAT ONE !!!

You lost; get over it.

No, actually ALL Americans lost.....now you go take a leap without the parachute.

It's only an imbecile that would expect Obama to loose. The supreme court's one-part of the goverment system, as an arm. Obama, in speeches, only pretented for any eventuality but in real sense, he knew he'll get a smooth ride, with slight concession to those who oppose his "healthcare". Executive + legislature + judiciary/suppreme court = government. Then, why would Obama loose?

AS a Canadian, who's been covered by universal health care for decades now, I can't fathom why this is even an issue. Yes, I think the big drug and insurance co's were allowed FAR too much  say in the way the new health care coverage works, but still, it's a hundred times better than the current system, which has an e-friend of mine waiting for over a month and a half to find out if she needs chemo for breast cancer, ALL BECAUSE HER INSURANCE CO. HAS TO APPROVE THE VISIT TO THE ONCOLOGIST!!

Actually I can't think of any valid reason for those who can afford it to not buy health insurance. That decision has been left to the individual for many years yet many have failed to do the right thing. Now it will be mandatory. I'd rather see their medical bills paid for out of their own pockets than out of yours and mine.

There is a lot more to this bill and I expect we will be learning more about it in the near future. It's not only about mandating that those who can afford it buy health insurance. I think the best thing we Americans can do is to study the Affordable Care Plan and understand the nuanaces. We need to be careful about allowing Rush et al and the politicos  tell us what it's about and how it will effect each of us now and in the future.

The insurance providers are the only ones winning here. Yes,every one should have health care, but not at the expense of others being forced to pay the insurance companies to cover "every one".

"Thanks Pres.....everyone should have health care....."

Yes, they should and I find it more than a little ironic that those who are always bleating about how much it's going to cost them typically make less than I pay in taxes.

You clearly know nothing about the law but who do you think pays for the health care costs of the uninsured now?
