Judy P

by Judy P on 24 September 2011 - 12:09

I am just about ready to explode.  Another board member has a vendetta against me.  I placed 2 Malinois puppies with a person who has become a friend, and now her ex's roommate has decided to do all he can to make my life living hell.  I am sure a lot of you saw the post on the GSD board about how horrible these puppies were.  Let me tell you, the first one has been in his new home for a few months, Yes he did need more training - he was a puppy and not a fully trained adult.  Typical Malinois puppy who goes to a new home as a teenager, a little freaky until he settled in, he is a very high drive puppy and until his new owner got his attention and respect he ran rough shod over her.  now the second puppy who went to her new home this weekene, she had recieved her AKC STAR Puppy certificate, completed a basic obedience class and had several lessons with my trainer for basic obedience.  She lacked the necessary drive to be a sport dog so I placed her.  Yes she had some healing fly bites on her ears, my husband forgot to spray ears and she is the one dog who attracts flys.  According to her new owner her ears are fine and almost healed.  She is totally housebroken but because she is a softer dog she can be freaky and until she settles in will act out.

This person does not know me from Adam, has never met me or been to my house.  Yet he has decided to trash me.  I offer to any one please drop by to visit when you are in the area.  You will have to excuse the house, my poor husband is run ragged as I have been unable to walk for almost 5 weeks and have many more weeks to go before I will be able to.  The dogs are  cared for and I am fed LOL  that is all I care about!

Judy, I have not seen the other thread or if I did it wasn't memorable enough for me to remember it.  I'm sorry to hear you aren't doing well.  The only piece of advice I have to offer is if somebody is slamming you it is typically done to get a rise out of you, so instead of giving them what they want just say ok and nothing else regardless of what they say, it will piss them off because you can't really argue with the response ok. That seems to be what a lot of the people on here want to do is just argue.  Makes you wonder what is going on in their life that they have to point out everyone else's flaws to take the focus off of their life.

Judy,
The internet offers a safe place for people to lie and post nasty things about people .  Most stories have two sides and intelligent people know this.  Don't worry too much, the truth comes out in the wash :)  Best of luck with your healing but don't get into a back and forth argument on the internet.

The easy and best way out is to name the member on here who is doing it, Then the rest of us can ride roughshod over him or her and do the same to them but in numbers. That will close the jerk or hussy down. and the one doing it will not get any attention to the posts put on ever again in the future on this Forum.

Hi, have been reading this forum for a while and felt that I need to share some info.First off I do not personally know either party  I just know what I viewed and recieved from Judy. 2 pups brother and sister
have excellent personalities,so far very healthy just turned 1yr both spayed and neutered .Was only looking
for one pup a male but when we saw the little girl we couldn't leave her behind, she was a rack of bones, dogs running in very small fenced in yard fence fighting with neighbors pitbulls no attention paid to humans, her trained dog was out when we arrived but would not listen without e-collar this of which if trained??? should have listened without one. yard was clean which made us wonder if eating stool, judy also tried to get us to take all 3 pups which would have been another girl who was not interested in any human but dogs by the fence. So there was no contract on the pups. To me a pup whether pet or breeding should have a contract. no questions were asked Just take the pups, which I had to catch, which she was in a hurry to get rid of $200.00 for three makes you wonder!?? I thought by reading posts here I would narrow down a good breeder who cared for what they produced and where they place there pups. Not so!Well as we were leaving she says oh you might want to keep the other dog(brother) from eating her food! good advice but she should had done this herself.I hope this opens a few eyes you can't believe what someone portrays themselfs to be on the web.

I don't know what Judy's talking about here, and I don't know Judy at all, BUT I have to say, if I had a dime for every person who says a dog in proper "working dog" weight was "skin and bones" or a "rack of bones" or any of the other things said so often, I'd be soooo rich! Also, assuming a clean yard means stool eaters is rather negative, don't you think? Sounds like peta mentality- since it's a breeder's home, there MUST be something shady going on.

I also love when someone who doesn't think a dog/dogs are being treated right doesn't have the guts to do or say anything about it and waits until much later to jump on the badwagon...that never sits right with me. If it was that bad and you did nothing, then you're just as guilty. I find the need to again post my favorite quote "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Just trying to play devil's advocate here.

Just the facts as seen threw our eyes on that day.12wk old pup in working condition come on!

12wk old pups or 12 yr old dogs...makes no difference to me. If you can't see at least the last 2 ribs and easily feel the others, the dog is too fat. Next time I go to someone's house who has a nice clean yard, I'll be sure to suspect them of not feeding their dogs or that their dogs must eat their own stool because they are starving. I mean, it couldn't just be that they clean it up.

Show us the facts, please. I assume you were horrified enough to take pictures, right? And place a report, right?

If you say something, be prepared to back it up. Most of us on here don't take allegations of animal cruelty lightly.

Well, actually a Richard claims to have photos that will put Judy in a bad light. I think this is what got Judy P upset. On this thread:

Ok I am sick of this, yes the one puppy 4 mal got was thinner than her brother, she and 2 other puppies in the litter contracted Corrona.  They all recieved proper care and all surrvived.  Anna was slower to regain her weight than the others despite being fed more often and part of the time by hand.
These puppies spent time during the day in a 12X 16 run (one of our old dirt runs which have been replaced)  they also ran loose in the yard which is 120 x 90 when it was safe for them to do so.
I scoop poop a minimum of once a day, this is my yard - I live here and I hate stepping in poop.
These were NOT working puppies but rather placed as pet on limited registration with the understanding they be altered.  I suspose instead of letting them go inexpensively to a home with Malinois experience I could have done the same thing the GSD breeder did and euthanized them because I could not get top price for them.
As for Richard I have spoken at great length with the owner of these two puppies/young adults.  She is more than pleased with her dogs and has no complaints of course she is not on line so you only have my word.  Let Richard post his pictures - I hope he has one from Friday because I would love to see Nicky's mud bath.  These 2 dogs are in excellent weight or were when they left me
The owner of the two Richard is complaining about feels Richard tried to get in the run with Nicky and corner her - trust me she will show you her teeth and click them together because she has no clue who Richard is.
I am so sick of people, I know now why I like my dogs.
