No matter what the subject matter is, the BIBLE has the ultimate answer to how to live our lives if we are , yes , it is not religion..you cannot seperate your life ...it is called Faith we live by...and the Light is where we live and not in darkness...being LIKE FAITH and for spiritual growth we are to not be yoked with unbelievers. A whole study on relationships needed to understand that. 1Cor 6:14 -18

You cannot seperate things out of the life you live and put it out on a cliff and say   OH there it is...opposites and likes and Same faith and not same faith....BIBLE gives us things to base our life around..but man gets his self in it and it doesn't work even when done like it is suppose to be...MAN ruins everything himself with HIS own selfishness and his own priorities which turns any relationship or even friendships upside down and they fail miserably.

It takes two to Tango no matter whether same or opposite likes or dislikes..

The point YR is there are dozens of other threads for you folks to talk religion and you may also start any thread you like about religion why ruin a perfectly good non-religious thread with more religion??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? It is getting old very very old.

You want to preach the gospel well go right ahead but lets try to keep it to the religious threads, were it belongs or better yet go to bible study and preach and pray all you want.

YRose, Shtal, and RS ~ I do understand your comments about "being unequally yoked" with those of different faiths or with no faith. It has always been a "no brainer" in my mind, the difficullty I imagine comes when you find yourself loving someone ( unexpectedly ) that either has a different faith or none at all. I have to wonder at that point what one does in light of scriptures command to "not" be unequally yoked. Spitting out scripture is easy, living it out is indeed more difficult and especially so when the deepest matters of our hearts are involved...

GSD ~~ no worries about the religious talk! There is always room for opinion on any of my threads. I do agree that long preachy copy /paste, videos, and such are nauseating from either side. Btw I liked your comment about those that are too alike being "boring"!! I have to agree with that! I think two people coming to the table with something different to offer is quite interesting and has proven quite enjoyable IMO ! :)))

Chaz~~ as for the "smothering" comment when Mr Right comes along there will be no fear of any smothering lol! A guy that feels "smothered" apparently just hasn't found the right match!  As YR stated, being smothered by the "right" person is perfect ;)
