Wow, what a steaming pile of absolute dung!  Does anybody ever follow these fools' words to their logical conclusions?  Or is it easier to wrap yourself in the emotions of what you internalize and visualize instead?  The only evil I see in that video is a snake-oil salesman, selling his wares.  Sorry, I can never sign on to a cult of human sacrifice, it goes so far beyond what I consider moral and/or right.  It's scay that that can give any decent human being the warm-fuzzies and call it love!

I'll gladly tell you what I think!

PLEASE, take a look at the scene below.  This is one child, in one lonely corner of the world.  Look at her, look at the life she's had, look at the exhaustion of trying to live, just one more day.  Try to imagine what it's like to have skin ripped from bones so close to the surface, with not one ounce of fat beneath that skin, because of the starvation that has wracked her tiny body, most likely from birth.  Imagine, after the suffering this child has endured, the pain of being eaten alive, bit by painful bit.  Not one ounce of strength left to fight, or muscle mass able.

Now, stand in front of me and tell me that this is part of some evil game that you call "good", because YOU believe that there will be a reward for YOU after this life, and for that, this child endured this tortured existence and worse yet, her final fate.

The saddest part of the whole thing is, this is justified, in countries where there are riches beyond belief, for the chosen few.  And guess what?  Those chosen few are always under the gold-lined robes of a religion.

I'm sorry, I can never abide the torture of a child, because some think these children don't deserve better.  I can't justifying this, in any way, for any reason.  I will never kneel to an entity that considers just this child's suffering, just this one, as some kind of atonement for others.  It's hideous, it's cruel, it's obscene and worst of all, based on nothing but someone's opinion.  That anyone can say that this is ordained and celebrate it...  You go ahead and wrap those emotions of thanking God for finding your car keys, but don't ever picture this scene in your head again.  If you do, I hope it haunts you.

I'd rather be human.

Famous, Infamous and Iconic Photos

Vulture Stalking a Child

with 363 comments

In March 1993, photographer Kevin Carter made a trip to southern Sudan, where he took now iconic photo of a vulture preying upon an emaciated Sudanese toddler near the village of Ayod. Carter said he waited about 20 minutes, hoping that the vulture would spread its wings. It didn’t. Carter snapped the haunting photograph and chased the vulture away. (The parents of the girl were busy taking food from the same UN plane Carter took to Ayod).

The photograph was sold to The New York Times where it appeared for the first time on March 26, 1993 as ‘metaphor for Africa’s despair’. Practically overnight hundreds of people contacted the newspaper to ask whether the child had survived, leading the newspaper to run an unusual special editor’s note saying the girl had enough strength to walk away from the vulture, but that her ultimate fate was unknown. Journalists in the Sudan were told not to touch the famine victims, because of the risk of transmitting disease, but Carter came under criticism for not helping the girl. “The man adjusting his lens to take just the right frame of her suffering might just as well be a predator, another vulture on the scene,” read one editorial.

Carter eventually won the Pulitzer Prize for this photo, but he couldn’t enjoy it. “I’m really, really sorry I didn’t pick the child up,” he confided in a friend. Consumed with the violence he’d witnessed, and haunted by the questions as to the little girl’s fate, he committed suicide three months later.

Listen the picture is disgusting, I am a human / mother ,, but worse then the present and temporal sufferings of this child are the eternal consequences for ignoring a holy and sovereign God, Have you ever heard of "original sin", well here it is in all its glory!! ( horror ) ,,Its ugly, foul and atrocious, and until we recognize that the wages of this original sin is in fact death ( on many levels ) we have no hope,,,Look to God Travels..I know you will hate this comment, but I can not go against my conscience to speak what I believe to be the truth,,,
