What a brave soul...
Life is about change. If you can't accept change, you'll never learn to truly live. When you accept change, you realize that your choices are what really matters. I wish her a peaceful passing...

Thank you Travels. I never watch videos here and decided to watch this one and I am so glad I did. I think everyone should have the option of physician assisted death. I let my dad go because I couldn't stand to see the suffering and I knew he didn't want his life prolonged once he fell into a comma. My brother and sister couldn't help make the decision so I did. I am glad he is now beyond his suffering but having to make those hard decisions was made easy by our talks about what he wanted. I honestly think that had he had this choice he might have made it sooner than wait for me to have to make it for him, later.
Anyways, thanks for posting this.

What a brave woman she is. I wish I lived in a state that I could do the same thing. Moving to a state that it is legal would be out of the question for me. I would not want my family to watch me die if that was the situation.

....so....was all this for attention?

Well, since there's no doubt that she is terminal, maybe her prognosis improved a bit and she postponed. Attention stunt? Uh, I don't think so.

I'm glad she went with dignity, sad no matter how you look at it.
