Garden News - Page 1

I need to start a thread because I am up in arms! There is another woodchuck, and he brazenly went inside my garden and ate half my row of bush beans. With a side of newly sprouted giant Sunflowers. I had just been admiring all my happy, vigorous looking sprouts when I watered in the morning. Shortly after 12 noon, my son was shouting from out of the upstairs bathroom window. 

Mom! There is a woodchuck in the middle of the yard! 

So, I called the dogs, we go out.... but nothing was there. I glanced askance at my garden. I noticed the ravaged row of bean sprouts, immediately. I wailed in distress~ I must have woke up that rooster, with the racket I made! Pay back, ha! lol

Brazen beasts, they are, those tender-shoot-loving woodchucks. Baby Rhino will just have to stay ouside for his afternoon naps. He won't mind.

The nerve! Damn thing came back and finished off the whole row of beans!

oh, that sucks.....shoot the bastard!

If looks could kill, he'd have died a thousand deaths, already! 

Maybe I can trap him with my Hav-A-Hart trap. Tempt it with fresh apples and juicy lettuce, placed 50 ft away from his hiding hole. That's what google said.... hmm....

This is the PEST at my house...My  tomatoe plants now have tomatoes and he better keep clear..HE let me get this close with phone camera so if he dare goes to my bed with eggplant and my tomatoes he is gonna be in a frying pan...ANY one cook squirrel ??

Ho Ho HO  , It says it contains DRIED  blood///wonder Whose??

This news just in ... only hours ago! I had to download it first to my main mac. It wanted to be upside down from the devices. I am wondering if that happens because the gyroscope thing gets confused and only wants one orientation over the other. I hate it when that happens, lol

DH says it is the second baby... big Momma is still at large. But still, Rhino is proud of his kill! Look where he brought it, into the spot light!

There is one less woodchuck, to carry on, carry on.... (Sung to a Chicago tune...lol?)

Yeah !!!! one down how many to go.? MY son has  a female he rescued and it kills gophers and moles...sits in wait and then goes after it when it sticks head up..She actually digs into the mound and come up with her Kill..I will try to get a pic...
