Do any other cold climate dwellers struggle with this !! I am going out of my mind ! Between low census at work, and record breaking temps,
I am seriously struggling with the "winter blues " ,,,,Everything I enjoy ~working Prince, and the horses outdoors ,gardening, and fresh air, I can only dream of,, ,
,,,I have been considering moving to a warmer climate for a few years now ,,,I am from the west , but I will never go that far from family ,,,South with all the humidity and large bugs is definitely a no go !!!' I like the east with all it's charm and history , but know very little about the climate. I assume it's much like Ohio,,,I have considered TN or KY ,,,,
I am so desperate I would be willing to debate Gouda on a religious topic !' Lol ,,,Now that's saying something ,,,,;)

And now I see on FB that sweet and adorable Justin Bieber was arrested !!! ,,Now that just bums me out !! ,,,
,,,Poor Bieber, it must be terribly difficult to deal with all that fame, fortune, talent, and good looks!! ,,Only he could pull off a red jail scrub shirt and still look swag!!!

Ahh Deanna,....Sorry to hear winters dragging your spirits down.
Since the west is out of the question for you.....I'd look to Kentucky.......great horse country....good clubs to train Princey with....awesome contryside.
I hear the climate isn't to bad, humid but I don't think anymore than Ohio in the summertime. If I had to move east my first choice would be KY then NC.

Clc.,,Glad you popped in,,:) Thanks for the picture~ I love sunflowers,,One of my favorites is Tithonia diversifolia aka Mexican Sunflower,,,I love to pair the orange and yellows with different shades of purple,,Very "hot" combination indeed!!,,Maybe I will post some pictures , but I have some nice ones on my FB too...The west ...I am fiercely jealous right now!!,lol,,,,

I've never seen those....PRETTY. We have the mexcian hat flower all over out here.....I have a love hate opinion with them.....beautiful but very invasive. They will grow anywhere and seem to especially like growing between my brick pavers....grrr.

yes, I have grown those in a variety of wildflower mixes ,,,We call them ratibida columnifera aka upright praire cone flower ,,I honestly miss all the research, planning and study I used to enjoy with my dear mentor, he passed away sudden and unexpectedly ~~RIP dear Monty ,,,I think I missed my calling in life lol,,,Money was better in nursing and my children's horse showing hobby was expensive ,,,Going into horticulture wasn't as promising of a career, but actually was my first love ,,,I enjoy landscape design :) But the simple pleasure of planting , nurturing , and admiring flowers is a perfectly special delight ! ,,,
,,,lol I suppose that was way more information then anyone needed,,,I did enjoy sharing it though ,,,,
