Oh, I have a very possesive little witch. Anything she touches is instantly and permanently hers, she could have not touched the water bucket for an hour but she will run up and chew out any dog who dares to touch what SHE already used! I can't believe how tolerant my girls are of her.

Very cute pic!

I love it!  Mine does that and keeps trying to get more and more into his mouth! No pics though.  He even will run to the fence and bark without letting any ball drop.  It's muffled but priceless because he does a stomp on the ground as he tries to make his bark with all that in his mouth!

I have one too. Her name is Reese, but it should be "Mine, Mine, All Mine."

That's a nice photo Elkoor of your possessive snot lol.

My female whose is now 3 yrs old has been possessive since she was a puppy.  Though she was the smallest in size compared to her siblings, she will take anything off their mouths.  She still does this with my older dog which can be a pain.  It does not matter if she's already got a ball/ stick, she will drop hers and take possession and guards her collections.

I do find her possiveness unsociable though with other dogs which makes it hard coz I have to intervene before trouble brews.

Here's some reminders when she was 7 weeks:
