Help!! For the last month I have been back and forth with vets, breeders, specialist etc... It seems that my 4 month Boerboel has weak pasterns.  Some have suggested taking him off of the large breed puppy food I have been feeding and to an Adult food with lower protein.  Others have suggested that I have to splint the dog and not change his food.  Others have suggested that this is genetic and can never be corrected.  The breeder has "never had this happen before" and his reply has been that weak pasterns dont come covered under the health guarantee and that he'd sell me another dog for a reduced price.  But this does NOTHING for the puppy I already spent $1200.00 plus vet cost for.  Anybody with a large/giant breed dog ever had this issue!?! Please give me help.
