Ok. So now I am really confused.   I understood that the TOS applied period.   So, for now, the TOS does not apply to OT?

Well than, YR, I have a few things I have been wanting to tell you and Mr. High and Mighty.......

GSD Admin (admin)

by GSD Admin on 13 October 2014 - 01:10

And what happened to those admins from the past - could it have been that being people knew them - they screamed bias and threw a fit when the old admins had to make decisions that affected them. So, Oli caved and removed them.

OT, allows bashing as there aren't rules here against it. Also, if people didn't try and set up others this all may have never happened. It was because of those people that moderation was added in the first place and they only have themselves to blame except for those who can't except the blame and use every form of deceit to hide it. Imagine what you all would have done YR if you had my name, I hate to think of it. I also know that OLI explicitlly told me who sent the email and while you can deny it all you want, it is the facts of what happened, you have never ever once in all your loving Christian ways aplogized for your role in what ultimately blew up in your face. Then you have the nerve to talk about bashing, you YR conspired to LIE with others to have me removed from the site because you didn't like what I had to say. Strange you would talk about bashing.

The only reason you want our names is because of me and wanting to know who I am and I say NO, it is my personal life and being the owner wants to protect us from his own members it sure says a lot to me - it has nothing to do with being business minded at all and has to do with protecting the privacy of the admins who do this for FREE.

I will even go one step further not only did he want our privacy protected at first we couldn't even tell the other admins who we were because he didn't trust all of us to keep our mouths shut.

Funny how a thread about a simple yes or no on the TOS has now morphed into wanting to know our identities. I tell you what, to the first person that can tell me the whole truth of what happened with the conspiracy, I will give up my name to the whole forum for your scrutiny and respect.

I honestly understand protecting the identity of the admins when they are taking care of administrative duties.  I would never have a problem with that.  I was just saying when they are commenting on the thread like anyone else then it would only seem fair that their name be known.  You said you would prefer for everyone to use their real name and that was part of why you changed one posters name back to his personal name from bzcz or what ever it was.  And I was totally in agreement on that with you.  And I was saying to make it appear totally fair those at the top should set the example in that area.  Other wise you changing his name would appear to be a form of bullying and I know that wasn't your intent.  If I tell my sons not to swear and then I swear I can't be surprised that they swear could I?

Reggie,

I am Sock Puppet - aka- SP. SP was retired years ago. I don't even have a user name beyond GSDadmin so what is it you exactly want? Me to sign up a new name and hide who I am (an admin) or do you want me to sign up a new name and tell everyone I am GSDadmin? I will do whatever you say. I don't see the difference tho what you see is what you get either way.

And I have no reason to want to know your identity other then knowing who I'm speaking to and gives what you say more weight.  I am no stalker.  The worst I have ever done is one time I got pulled over for going to fast in a school zone during the summer when no school was in session down in chiefland Florida.  Not to bad for 52 years.  I'm not going to ruin that by going out searching someone down because I don't like their post.  I try to be a peace maker not a trouble maker.  I feel like  a baby sitter all day.  I'm a superintendent for a general contractor.  I do hospitals, schools and restaurants.  So I  deal with attitudes all day.  I have to work as a mediator all day.  If I don't set the example of being calm and in control of my emotions it is kind of hard for me to tell the 6'4 300#  son of Goliath to get a grip.  So I don't look for trouble where there isn't

When posting comments not as an admin use your real name.  But I''m not trying to make problems.  I rather enjoy our discussions.  I just like to know who I'm talking to.  I personally take responsability for all I say.  No fake name to blame it on.

So, I am being asked to use my real name making comments on a forum when at any time dozens of members are anonymous. I think I will just lol that.

In favor of TOS and in favor of admins remaining anonymous.

While most (members) aren't stalkers I've read some pretty sick/violent responses directed at both admins and other members, from people I thought were pretty level headed.

Just goes to show you don't really know people. Therefore, I think the admins real names should remain anonymous (by choice).

GSD......Sock Puppet? Really? He he......I love it :)

My suggest, though I do not know if possible, is that admins have 2 sign ons.  One as Admin, that is only used in admin roles and a regular one.    No one needs to know that "A" goes to "B".

as for giving real names on the Internet.....  That should be a personal comfort area.   Keep in mind that not everyone who reads the threads is an actual member and, sad as it is, not everyone one on the Internet plays with a full deck.
