I would not put mint in full sun, YR.  I did put a pot out the front here and

despite watering it,  it has frizzled and died.   Mint is such a thug, I was

surprised, I thought it could survive anywhere !  Yours looks nice n healthy.

So far, the refrigerator dills have been given the seal of approval from the connoisseur taste buds of my eldest teenager. They are tasty! And nice and crunchy, I must say so myself! Teeth Smile It is getting very easy to do, now. That is, if you have the pickling cucumbers growing and pickle them fresh.

I am also attempting, for the first time, old-fashioned brining or rather fermenting of cucumbers to make sour pickles. It is a complete science project! And a bit scarey for a first timer. I do believe I have the proper scum, though, (google images is such a big help!). The brine smells good, like an old country store barrel, so I am optomistic. It has been sitting for only two weeks, I have at least one more to go. Then, I am supposed to be able to pack and process them. Check out the "good" scum, lol! I hope!

And thanks to all, for the nice garden comments! You should see the weeds in the flower beds... something had to give!

Wink Smile

HM: I found out the Texas sun will fry the mint...even on the patio it was too hot ..so I moved it to just get a few hours in morning and then it still gets so dry...have to water it the minute I get up...in morning ...

I do not get up till 9 or 10  so it has had its sun...the other pot is under the lilies on patio on other side and I water it several times a day..

eventually I will put in the flowerbed where little sun gets on it..

Here are my marigolds out front that are doing great...have to water every night as they have shallow roots..
