Howdy.... There are a lot of rumors out there.... As far as I¿m concerned, there are regulations in place that state excactly which animals are allowed to breed. There are also exact rules in which case a dog looses the right to be in the breeding. If the SV sticks with his own rules, the progeny of Nero drops out, from the point AFTER the operation was performed. All the progeny of Nero that was breed BEFORE the operation should be allowed within in the breed and therefor should have the proper paperwork. That pretty much should be the end of the story. At least that was the way it was performed and handelt with other dogs before. It would be pretty odd if they now change the rules, because Nero has a lot of progeny. Needless to say that it would be a slap in the face of those breeders that sticked with the rules in the past and had great loss. Annother point would, and i think ,thats a big one, if they do change the rules one way or the other, they basicly tell the peopel who KNOWINGLY started the mess, its ok to cheat and betray !!! CAN THAT BE ????? I do know that there is a lot of money involved, hey, lets get it back from the peopel that started it!!!! Yes, it is a shame, and i do feel sorry for the peopel that do own progeny of Nero that was born after the alteration.......still the genes of that line is not lost for the breed, because there is progeny of his that was born before the operation. Still i guess we all will have to wait what is happening and how the SV will decide. Excuse my bad english.
