I really doubt he will be taken out of the country, but I'm desperate... Passing throw a really bad luck times with my pets Cry Smile (even the cats catched a cold!) and Isa hurted her breading pipe...

So my dear, lovely beautifull Mic is gone... He disapeared from my balcony during the night of 17 (5 days ago)... He have done this more than once, we put up fences, then higger fences, and we were at ease because were thinking he wasn't able to flead now... We were wrong... during the night Mic flead, but althouh he did flead before he never left the area and ALWAYS came home after an hour or two tops... 5 days have passed, we put up flyers, facebook, tweeter, e-mails, whent to the police, to the selthers, everything... and still haven't heard from him...

He has identification tags, and chip, had a collar dark green and a dark brown/black flea collar... I'm really scard, we are deep into hunting times and areas... Mic is no use for hunting, he is to scarish, I'm affaird if he was caught for that, what will they do when they figure it out???

We haven't give up, but are really affaird...

PLEASE, if you know anything about Mic, please contact me!

He is a Portuguese Podengo mix. weights about 13 kg, as white marcs on his feet and chest, and a old cut on his left ear...

So sorry, Ana, I hope you´ll get him back safe and alive.

Don't be surprised if he just saunters back home and you find him relaxing on your porch. Roamers like to roam and the more obstacles you put up for him, the greater the challenge and the longer he will stay away to enjoy his freedom. Keep posting on Facebook, call vets and rescue shelters repeatedly and ask God to return him to you safely. I hope he returns home to you soon.

I am so sorry you are missing your dog.  I remember when my ex used to let Loki out off leash and he would run away (one of the reasons he is my ex, thinking he can "make" Loki behave without working with him).  I used to be heart sick wondering if he was hurt somewhere or afraid.  Always so glad when I found him.  Hopefully you find your pup soon.  Hugs

So sorry to hear your Mic is missing! Hopefully, he will come home soon.

Around 15 year ago, I had a black lab named Lucy who disappeared from my property. I live in the country so I felt sure a snake or coyotes had led to her disappearance. Approximately, two weeks after she went missing, my husband, four young children and I were eating lunch at our dining room table in front of a large window. We blessed our food and one of my children added, "Dear God, please let Lucy come home." We looked up after praying and saw her running across the back yard toward our house. She was in excellent shape which was strange for a dog that had been lost or gone for two weeks. I swear this is a true story. Prayer really did work!

Also, my son's Jack Russell, Ace, went missing a couple of years ago. We put pictures of him at all the local stores as lost. Within a week, a lady called and said she had found him shaking in the road about two miles from where we live. She had taken him home that night and put him in a crate. The next day she dropped him off at a local vet's office. My husband picked him up.

So don't give up. There IS a chance you will find Mic!

In the midst of all the problems we find Mic! after a week of fear and desperation, I get a call:
"Hello, I saw a poster because of a missing dog, the dog is in my home since a week ago. My son came home from school with him, and wanted to keep him, I explained that the dog must have owner, was pampered and had collars (the identification plates disappeared), but our dog had died a few days before and we did not pressed a lot. As he was trying to escape the yard, held him in our kennel."
So we have our Mic back, which makes us extremely happy, but left a very sad boy .. I spoke to his mother and if they create conditions for him (for him to be all day trapped in a leash or in a kennel, he stays where it is) we will think about offering Mic to the child ... anyway the boy was invited to come visit the Mic whenever he wants (which also allows us to better know the people, I am not a dog breeder precisely because would not be able to give my babies to any person). So we will see =)

THANKS SO MUCH for the support! don't have enough words to thank you all...

So glad Mic is back!

I guess it´s no good idea to give an "escape artist" to a family with a child - either he´ll get lost sooner or later or he´ll live in a kennel for the rest of his life.
"Very sad boy" = a new puppy for him, bought by his parents, and the "very sad boy" will be fine.

I´d care about Mic, not about strange children...

Once again: So glad Mic is back!

Great news!!!!! And a lovely thing to do to consider offering your beloved Mic to the boy. Think you should rename Mic to Houdini, ( escape artist ), lol, lol.
