I can tell you that the pedigree for work ethic from EDDY is SUPER ............... Your bitch has been bred with a great male ..... you can go to his kennel website or do a search on Eddy vom ......... I personally had a bitch from his kennel .... Bessie ..... and know hubert personally ............... Bessie was both a SchH and police DPO/WPO dog for me ..... Look up Eddy's kennel and you will see .................. Regards ................. G !

Is she only 18 months old? Or is the date wrong on her pedigree. Isthat not a little young to breed?

by Vikram on 08 October 2008 - 12:10

same was my observation. The bitch is too young to be bred.

regards

should be a good breeding, have you seen the pedigree of your female,so if genetic play thier part you could have some awesome dogs.Hagenhuhle is a small kennel and i love the fact that theywork thier own dogs and keep some of thier own puppies and raise them and train them.i have followed every one of thier litter and been impressed.their main female is one of the best Olex's daughter i have seen and she produces awesome dogs.you got Lord,Nick, Yochy, this is just the mother side and then u got Tom,Querry and Orry going back to my most favourute dog ever Robby Glocknec.and Troll u can not go wrong.have a nice one.

Hi

I could not help but be amused , by some on this board. We  who lack the knowledge seek the wisdom of those who are knowledgable. If we have the knowledge ,we share it for the betterment of the breed be it working , show , S. A. R. , guide dogs, etc. If for some reason we are unable to answer the questions , be it due to lack of knowledge of the specific issue , we should refrain and allow those who know to enlighten us. We try not to exibit our ignorance , by bringing up other issues and putting others down.

There are many on this board , very knowledgable on matters,of the G S D with many years  of experience and are very humble as well as helpful. They are the people who are the pillars of this board, for they have made me aware of how much more I need to learn.

I do not want to be insulting to anyone , So please  can those who know the virtues of the intended breeding ,kindly share your knowledge with us , thus we may all be able to breed better G S D's.

dr gsd, looking at this combo...i'd have to say it's compares easily to good working line breedings...you mentioned that you'd "just aquired" the bitch...it's been my observation that young, intensely bred working bitches need time to adjust to new environments....be allowed to get comfortable with the whelping area...which in turn allows you to get a true guage of the bitches' temprement while she's in training toward some type of sport or service work.the trouble with young bitches(imho)is that they're a little to hype on the first breeding(steping on whelps, carrying them around in their mouths, ect, ect),if they're exposed to other bitches going thru the "breeding/whelping" process, they tend to do a little better when it's their turn.surely you have a goal for this breeding and hopefully the pups will all go to good homes...be prepared for negative comments, personally,i'd like to breed a bitch beyond 20+ months of age, with breedable hips and temprement  that suits me.....good luck
