Hello Sue

I have no intention of continuing to argue with you on this message board because it detracts from the main theme.

What I will say is that I remember the female that you had from Nellie Wright (Jacnel Nacale).  I have been in the breed since 1970 when I bought my first dog.  Like all all newcomers I traipsed all over the country to all sorts of shows getting to know how things worked.  I have judged at a few shows, the last one in the 1990's when Tommy Scott invited me to take the appointment, Best of breed was Allenkees Heini.  I do not keep catalogues etc anymore but if you go to the Janquetta site and refer to the year 1990 two day show, under minor puppy dog you will see that I was third behind Edison and Quando having started the class in second place.  That as far as I know is the only written evidence that you can refer to.  The litter sister, in the same class for females, finished ninth in a class of 62.  You will see from the breeding that I had taken the mother to Germany and mated her to one of the top dogs of the day.

I was also, ring helper at SATS for a few years, normally with the male judge (Reinhard Meyer, Orchler among them).

I have bought females from Germany and, I trained one Catja v Seelord who I bought at six months and then took her back to Germany to be polished up for the Körung, Prufung and Sch h 1.  I think you will  find her in the Körbuch for 1990.  After getting her papers she was mated to Yago WildsteigerLand.

I was a member of the SV for many years until I fell out with them over the Leif Noriswand affair.  I had two females from him who had incorrect papers.  I took the matter up  with Messler who said that he could not help and that I should get my own Club to take up the matter.  When I pointed out that the SV was the only Club that I belonged to he refused to talk to me any more.  That for me was the end.

I hope this is sufficient for you.

Kind regards

Mackenzie

Hello Mackenzie

Thank you for your post , did not need all that info but thank you anyway. Still fail to understand why you consider a PM on this messageboard to be a Back Door , or why you didnt see fit to introduce yourself to me at the time I enquired privately to you.  Many have contacted me via this method, with them, not I making the first move and from it very good, trusting friendships have developed.
Hopefully this morning (if not before) you will have witnessed first hand one of the reasons why I have little tollerance for anonymous entities. There have been at least 5 championship show judges commenting on this thread, all are breeders of champions with well over 150 years of experience between them, so forgive me when someone I have never heard of starts suggesting that without the involvement of certain people we are doomed, as if these people are the only people capable of doing anything. We are only doomed if the masses allow it and if the masses do allow it then we are doomed  whoever is actively involved because majority always rules (even if it is not always the best ruling) that's democracy.

From what you have described of your involvement with the Leif affair you sound very much like me, see an injustice and just cant help but dig your heels in and jump straight in there in principle. That has always been my problem and I'm not backwards in admitting it, will fight for a principle despite the damage I might do to myself in the meantime and yes I can be hot headed when I see an injustice more especially when it involves something or someone I am passionate about, and I'm neither afraid nor too vain to admit when I am wrong or that I make mistakes and Yes I can even change my mind!!

Hope we can put this futile arguing behind us and start again but I may not always agree with you nor you with me but hopefully mutual respect should now see us through it.

Best Regards
Sue b

Mackenzie's  recollection of being placed third in minor puppy at the 1990 two day show, brought a smile to my face, i recall the challenge, when the judge after giving the CC to Exl v Batu, caused somewhat of a commotion by not being precise in awarding the reserve CC, he merely stated that the " Sable Dog " was the reserve winner, " Doddsy " who was handling Jupaala Quino, stepped up to take ticket, whilst  "Coxsie "  handling Jupaala Pilot , and still a young boy then, just stood there, probably unwilling to cause a scene.  I was  outside the ring but close to the Judge, and i knew he had awarded it to  " Pilot " so i had to remind the Judge, who to be fair rectifed the mistake right away.

I know this has veered away from the thread, but what the hell.

 Regards Paul.
