For me he looks very good, but I was more interesting professional opinion or if people know how successful this male produce off-spring pups.
Thanks,
Shtal.

This male looks ok. But none of his offspring has amounted to anything. And only one with a stamp, the others there is no info that I could find. None of the offspring, on this database, have show titles, work titles, etc. that doesn't really mean anything though, the progeny is still relatively young. What are your goals in this breeding?

In regards to pedigree it is good also the conformation is very good, would be of benefit if you provide the female's pedigree so experts can check the mating for you.

I wanted to keep a female for myself with high drive, similiar to working line dogs.

The male looks fine, the question should be what makes your female suitable for breeding?

by Nans gsd on 13 April 2013 - 19:04

Does the bitch have HD/ED/Cardio/Thyroid/Eye/DM clearances for starters?  Very, very important.  And behind her background I do not see too many even HD/ED clearances;  again very very important.  Otherwise it would be considered a backyard breeding.  YOu do not want to start your dog career out that way.  Good luck  Nan

I think he's beautiful, honestly.  But he's not produced much yet.  On top of that, what OTHER reasons are you looking for to breed to this male?  Do he and your bitch match genotypically?  Phenotypically?  Both?  What possible pit falls could their be in regards to health?  Poor hip production?  Heart issues? Eye issues?

More research is needed

He's a nice dog, but the female's lines are weak. Several that aren't titled, including herself, several that don't have hip scores, including herself. What makes her breed worthy?
