- Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
John 14:14:
- If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
There is this statement in Psalms chapter 41:
- 1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.
2 The Lord will protect him and preserve his life;
he will bless him in the land
and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
3 The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed
and restore him from his bed of illness.
In Mark 16, Jesus talks about the laying on of hands:
- 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.
James 5:15, where the Bible says:
- And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.

Because they can and if they have money then they should receive the best care possible, let the poor people suffer with sub-standard care because that is the Christian thing to do.

Oh bother! Why not go to a doctor? God uses medical professionals to fulfill His will.

see how your mind is making up excuses to defend your beliefs at the expense of yr reasoning ability.
this is a perfect example of the damage religion causes.

Its gods will people were born to invent science and modern medicine so god could make people get sick and go visit a doctor who uses medicine to heal them and not prayer like god told his believers they should do according to his word in the scripture i posted.
No, believe or not, I refuse to accept that you are that ignorant.

Vk4: you don't understand because you don't have a Biblical perspective on the nature of God.

you either take the easy way out and believe in magic, call that magic yaweh, allah, zues or the flying spaghetti monster or you look for natural explanations to natural phenomena.
i think we owe that much to our kids and forefathers instead of just saying goddidit.
i also find it distasteful that the same people that deny are the ones that embrace the comforts that science brings.

i don't comparmentalise my brain to hold to contradictory thoughts at once.
Of course you do. You are a man are you not? Then again, I suppose you could possess a woman's brain that is trapped in a man's body?
