Jolie My family and I purchased a five month old, solid black German Shepherd puppy on July 10, 2013 from Miami Dade County K-9 Services.
Prior to the purchase, I had the pleasure of speaking with a gentleman by the name of Mike for approximately one hour before setting up an appointment to see the five month old pup. At Mike's suggestion we met at West Point K-9 Academy kennel as he wanted to introduce me to the owner of this establishment in the event that I would require boarding and/or obedience training if I chose to purchase the puppy that he had for sale. Upon deciding to proceed with the purchase, Mike offered to drive me to his veterinarian where the puppy was examined, given vaccinations and a rabies tag. Normally, the before mentioned would have concluded the transaction between buyer and seller however Mike then offered to drive me to the only nearby location where I could purchase a specific dog food for my new puppy so that her diet could remain the same so as to avoid digestive issues.
It was very much appreciated that Mike voluntarily answered all questions and even went so far as to give some expert advice and tips concerning my new pup. It was also a very nice surprise that Mike telephoned on July 11, 2013 to inquire as to how Jolie was doing after her first night in her new home. Jolie is a wonderful and beautiful puppy, full of drive and with great potential. She has yet to have a potty accident in our home as she has preferred to do all of her business in the rear yard. We have also enjoyed beginning some basic obedience training with her such as walking on a leash and learning the command for "sit".
