Okay. Wait a minute. 0.008% is a TINY amount. Hardly worth wasting time & resources on a lawsuit.

Diamondgal - Please read the article. Clearly states:

"The lawsuit is founded on the Nutrish Pet Food’s claims of “Just 6” ingredients and due to lab results finding more than what the label claims – the lawsuit states Nutrish “breached its implied warranty of merchantability because Just 6 did in fact contain corn, wheat, soy, and beef, and therefore fails to function as a limited ingredient diet.”

Surprisingly, the lawsuit did not point out that the lab results also found horse and dog DNA. "

if there was actual dog DNA in a dog food being sold in NA, I sincerely hope this company gets their azz smoked.

Damn never liked Racheal Ray. Always seemed like they cared more about being a brand and having a product in every kind of market. Never expected their food to be good but this is worse than I thought.

I would think that canine DNA in dog food in N.A. means 99.99% certainty that ingredients were imported, which suggests a sh*t company for dog food and people need to be aware of.

but to be honest, I haven't liked RR since the coating came off my 8" non stick fry pan.

@Rik for sure, companies like Racheal Ray, who have products in nearly every item you could find in a store like Walmart, they definitely import unbranded items from China, slap "Racheal Ray" on it, and ship it to stores. If you have so many unrelated products, it is impossible to control quality on everything without massive quality control costs. Given how cheap Racheal Ray products are, I doubt they have any quality control beyond "does it fall apart before the customer buys it"
