Do the likes of Trump have to produce any evidence that they have tried to find indigenous workers, who didn't want to apply for these jobs, before they apply to advertise for foreign labour ?

@hundmutter, Trump himself has stated that they prefer to hire foreigners. The excuse is that Americans tend to be less qualified. I don't know if I can believe that out of a country our size he can't find enough people who are qualified.

Depending on the type of work visa they do pay FICA taxes.

This brings up an interesting issue. A major complaint from employers is the lack of qualified Americans so they need to outsource to other countries or bring in people on visas. Sanders was big on education, which would create more qualified Americans, but voters looked to candidates who offer no substance on the issue of jobs.

How would an undocumented immigrant, which is after all, just another name for an illegal alien, supposed to get a work visa? The same way he can not get a SS number, and therefore will not be on any legit payroll that would be collecting payroll taxes!

@beetree, Trump isn't hiring undocumented workers, at least not in this specific case, but hiring foreign workers who he gets work visas for. They are still foreigners and in principle it's no different than sending jobs overseas.
