Muzzle broad at base, moderately tapered. Lips black and close fitting. Gums dark. Jaw / teeth upper and lower jaw strong and broad, complete dentition, scissor bite. Eyes medium size, almond shape, dark/medium brown in colour, deep set. Ears medium size, triangular, wide appart. Neck good length, well muscled, slight arch. Back straight, strong, firm. Loins short, strong, deep. Croup broad, medium. Chest roomy, broad, deep, good forechest, well spring ribs. Tail carried correctly. Forequarters legs straight from front and not too close together, forearms from side straight and vertical, shoulders well laid back, upper arm close to body. Forearm stongly developed, muscular. Pasterns slightly springy, strong. Feet round and tight, well arched. Hindquarters from behind legs straight, not too close together, good angulation. Upper thigh moderately long, broad, well muscled. Hocks sturdy, well angulated. Coat medium length, correct texture. Markings rich tan, well defined, correctly placed.
