I am still getting a popup from time to time from this site telling me Java needs updating. It is obviously malware, and here is the source URL: http://www.java-updating-now.com/CA/?s1=QlxfABMSQQBaJ3ABAAAAAOZxbwAAAAAAAgAqLgYAAAAAAP8AAAAEEJn6RwAAAAAAb8J4AAAAAAB9-ogAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAB.rRcAAAAAAAIAAwAAgD8AZVJSB0MBAAAAAAAAADEyZTdjOWQ4LTY4MjAtMTFlMy1hMDEzLTEwNjA0YmE1ZWY2YwAAAAAAAAA=&s2=26109&s3=CA&s4=10499646&s5=24127322
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Java, and cleared my cache. What I'm not sure of is if the problem is coming from MY computer, or this website, as it ONLY happens on this website!
AVG said I can get rid of the litte bugger by clearing my Java cache, but I'm not sure how to do that, as opposed to clearing the whole computer's cache. Also, I think it is likely 'hiding in plain sight'. Anything in the Java cache is assumed to be 'safe', so it is not removed, nor is the cache disturbed by an uninstall/reinstall.
Any of you tech wizards have some advice for me? And nope, I am NOT going to switch to Firefox from IE!

I can't even get my mail now. Going back to IE and will just use the simple form. This is crazy.

There are more than 2 people having these issues, that is for sure. Check the other threads about it. Since, the overwhelming vast majority of those that visit this forum never post or rarely post they will not notice the issue or bring it to anyones attention.

Sunsilver, I get that flippin' java page too, on FB and this site. I use Chrome. My IE doesn't work at all anymore. Just keeps freezing. I know my troubles are on my end and that I"m going to have to spend some money. Squeeeeek.

Thank you, Slam!!
I don't see or hear any pop ups or Java warnings here.

I've got the Java warnings...
But I'm not sure if it was on this site or not... will pay attention in the future...
I do come on here from 4 different computers, all with IE and no other problems that I can recall...

How to clear java cache.
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml
It might help Oli if you guys could be more specific on what windows version you are running and what version of IE you are running. There are probably 1000s of lines of code running this site and a little info might be very helpful in tracking down a problem. I keep getting vague answers to this question.
I use Firefox exclusively and have never had problems getting into my mail.
