Bee,
there is nothing ordinary about me.

I think I've given you my thoughts on the universe already.
As for this vacuum, I really don't get it, but you go ahead and state the discussion.

by beetree on 22 August 2013 - 13:08

Moons: I guess I am going to have to do that. Carlin is busy at the moment with the God Squad.

Vk4: You are right, this idea of the classes of elite, politicians and the common working man are not unique to the USA. Please, do join in!

Moons,
You say I already know your answer: Burn it down.

AND, I am sure you have more than a few extraordinary qualities, but for this exercise let's just say when I call you ordinary it means: you held ordinary jobs, have had one wife with whom you successfully raised kids to adulthood, sent them to public school, pay your bills and drive a kickass truck, or fast car.)

So if you will?  What has your vision of the future done for you? How has it changed you, your outlook, actions, etc., has it in any way? Please play along. These are not trick questions, just want honest answers without my personal views clouding the waters, at the moment. I think I have already hinted at my thinking directions so we shall see how ornery you are feeling today, I suppose.

Carlin,
When you get a moment, could you write a small paragraph or two about "the melting pot" that you said you would? Thanks! No pressure, just when you can get around to it.

Vk4,
You think Joe has it right, even now? With how the world has progressed even since his death? Or, just take a moment and fill us in with some background on how you'd solve all the problems of the Universe? LOL Teeth Smile

Haven't forgotten you Bee; a lot on my plate at the moment.  What you're after actually requires a little thought, while the God squad is pretty simple.

Bee,
you said Universe, burn it all down is about our world only, and not about the world but man and his machine, his secrets.

The moon is on the dark side of the planet now and the sun is shining, a new day....:)
Ornery....LOL

Does what I know change me, of course it does.
How?
In every way imaginable.
None of those things you associate with ordinary fit me or my life at all Bee.
Don't even bother asking why, just know it isn't me.

And this isn't a recent development, it started as a child, so the change is not really a change at all, it's how I lived.

Now, about this public vacuum.

Personally,
I think the whole paragraph your hung up on at the moment is beat around the bush double talk  dribble.

Moons,

Okay, so thanks. I'll go with that. Would it be safe to say you don't have a shared rally point to your life because of say, your rejection of the strict religious teachings of your youth? However, you do feel a need for family, and other companionship; you like to share joy and get sympathy, stuff like that? Hmm? That would be "ordinary" to want these experiences, and would apply to you, perhaps?

Two Moons

Religion is the least of it, I have always been a watcher, I have always seen what others do not.
I learned much from simply observing.

No man is an island, humans need companionship, that comes in many forms, not just human companionship.
Yes it's something all humans need, but you don't have to follow the herd to have it.
It's not ordinary, it is the nature of humans.

Ordinary is a rock in a stream.

I avoid the fools and idiots whom I have learned over many years to be dangerous to one's mind and personal well being.
They cannot be changed because they have already had this wisdom bred out of them.
I don't buy their crap and I do not try to fit their mold.

by beetree on 22 August 2013 - 15:08

Okay. Ornery it is. This won't be easy. I'll be back later.Wink Smile

Two Moons

by Two Moons on 22 August 2013 - 15:08

Where do you get ornery?

How not easy is it to just say what you mean.

by beetree on 22 August 2013 - 15:08

I have to do some stuff at the moment ... but really, what am I supposed to do with,

" Ordinary is a rock in a stream." ???

LOL Come on, first you need to explain that, plainly! How about agreeing if there exists a human common nature, so it too, would be just as ordinary as a rock in a stream?
