Actually, office holders submit tax records as candidates and during their entire term. Mitt Romney ran for US Senator in 1994.  He was then Governor from 2002-2006.  In 2008 he provided multiple returns to John McCain who would not now endorse a man he knows to be a felon if only because of the risk Republicans would lose if that came out.  So we may be missing 2009.  That's alot more financial information than we have for most politicians.  Again, if you want to believe he's hiding a felony for one year that's fine, but it doesn't seem logical to me since he planned to run for office again.  It also doesn't sound like something a devout Mormon would do, but then again, the Dems don't have much else to talk about.
Still, do you care how many other politicians are tax felons, an otherwise victimless crime which seems not even to be prosecuted?  What about all the "suspicious" things Obama has done like refusing by executive order to enforce multiple laws passed by Congress, killing our enemies without a trial including an American citizen, unconfirmed political appointments, crony capitalism and so on?  Even if Obama is re-elected he may be subject to impeachment. These violations of his office are known, not just suspected.  Wouldn't it be considered a double standard to ignore all this but worry about possible tax evasion?

Did I miss where romney released his college transcripts?  Why do these looney tunes think they are owed that from Obama?  Makes me laugh every time I hear or read that.  Keep worrying about that though, and continue to make your side more and more irrelevant.

Reporters covering Washington for newspapers owned by McClatchy recently spent three months trying to obtain tax returns from all 100 members of the Senate and all 435 House members.

But only 17 either released their returns or provided similar data, according to a July 18 McClatchy article.

Would you care to explain to the class how many jobs Romney has created in the past 10 years or how his "investments" in off shore accounts for which he pays foreign taxes that he then deducts from his U.S. tax bill create jobs here in this country.  Oh, yeah, that's right; they don't.  But hey, go ahead and vote for him even though he espouses a plan that will raise your taxes by a couple of thousand dollars a year while giving an average additional annual tax cut to the "job creators" who create no jobs of more than your house is worth because hey, at least he's white.  Right?
