I will point out that as a follower of Christ, the position you take toward the non-believers lies in stark contrast to His.

My reply----  Jesus and His followers told the non believer,Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, wherby we must be saved.  Tthe unbelievers  are told,Verily, verily,I say unto you,He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold,or thnks he can clime up some other way,the same is a thief and a robber. In other words, unbelievers  are told a person can only come to God through the Christians Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus and his followers told the unbelievers they would suffer eternal damnation if they did not believe in Him and His sacrifice on the cross for their sins.

Carlin you mentioned Abraham, Here is what God told him.Because of the terible sin of the unbelievers in Sodom and Gomorrah,He must destroy the cities and all there in.
That is the relationship that God has with the unbeliever.
The middle ground, the well balanced compromise between living in the world and being of the world, however,is from the Holy Spirit and will RIGIDLY FOLLOW THE LINES LAID OUT IN THE WORD OF GOD.

Carlin,

My suggestion for you; you need to be reborn again - if you want to be Christian.

Here is the Bible verse for you, please set an example if you want to be Christ follower.

(1 Corinthians 16:14)

Let all your things be done with charity.

@bee -- seems as though I am in the midst of quite the identity crisis. Gouda - you could speak in the tongues of men and angels and be nothing more than a noisy gong or clanging cymbal. That is exactly what you are in the ears of the people here on the forum, and who knows where else. One can say the exact same words a hundred different ways. Yours are fill of condemnation. I'm left to wonder what Peter would have said on the deck of boat where he was called, if Christ would have read his mail and rebuked him. You can look at how Jesus handled the woman at the well or the adulteress; gentle, kind, and compassionate. In contrast, Jesus chastisement was reserved for the "religious" of his time. My concern for you and others, is that you not end up the one who not only does not enter, but prevents others from entering as well. That you are not like the one Jesus compared to an unmarked grave people step over without realizing it. Be more like the publican. One of the first things I was taught a long time ago in terms of ministering to others, was how to discern whether or not I had any business saying anything at all to someone regardless of whether it was scripture or not. I needed to search my heart, and ask if if I was acting because I had God's love in my heart for the person or not. If I don't, I have no business opening my mouth. Deal with the root of pride so you can stop trying to be "right", and start growing in your faith. Shtal, I don't even know where to begin.

One last thing before I leave you to wallow in your self-doubts.  Who is to say I do not believe? Are you saying because I don't believe in your way--I do not believe? And if you boys think about this, who died and made you God to act like know what I believe?  I get it, different is to be condemned as a nonbeliever.  Wowsawowwow.  No wonder this world has the problems it does. You boys like those labels don't you?

When in doubt play the multiple name blame game.

Shtal/gouda don't be so hard on Carlin he is like a big old Sugarbear.

 tHANKS GG FOR EXPLAINING

I posted in my previous post, just why we cannot be posting scripture and BIBLE on a dog forum like is being done..

Carlin just reinterated it in a different sentence, and you added the icing on it.

When  you are trying to quote all these scripture to those who have not studiied and do not have a personal relationship with the Father, then it is a waste of time, effort and lets SATAN have his way.

We are in Satans domain.  We, who belong to the Kingdom of God, inherited , cannot keep this up on an internet . It is spouting out words only with no result.

You cannot win anyones soul to Jesus by this kind of intimidation.  When you intimidate the people who are posting and reading, then you have lost your AUDIENCE>

Gods Law is ours to obey, and the Law points to Jesus, and Grace, and without Jesus there is not Grace and without grace their is no Cross and without the Cross we do not need Jesus and without Jesus there is no salvation..

The first 4 of the Ten Commandments teach us how to LOVE GOD< and the last 6 teach how to LOVE our Neighbor and people. If you do not Have GOD you won't have a clue how to LOVE anyone else.
