I'm curious,
when people say they have had problems with Internet Explorer what kind of problems are they talking about?

Un-secure, slow, and most viruses are written to attack vulnerable spots of IE. It does a horrible job of rendering websites. Have you ever toyed with the interactive pedigrees? Probably not because IE doesn't render them.

I could probably go on but really what is the sense as your mind is made up. BTW, I wouldn't trust windows defender to keep my computer safe. Microsoft is notorious for looking the other way on security holes and issues.

If the problem is IE then why does it only  rod iabout half the time when I sign in and my passw -----just got deleted againn and this is how it looks.

Funny,
I've never had any of those kind of problems, as for viruses yeah I guess they would be written primarily for a windows system since it is the most widely used system on earth.
I learned many years ago that you can avoid viruses and malware simply by knowing where you are and what your clicking on.
Control of the internet will forever be an ongoing battle, whatever can be written can also be altered or overridden.
I don't trust internet virus companies anymore than I do Google or anyone else, they are all players in the game.

Blitzens problem could actually be a mechanical problem, hardware.
But it is odd so many others experience the same issues.

Mine have all been resolved except for the cursor getting squirelly sometimes.

I really only know of 2 people having the same problem and it could be local to their system or settings.

the security thing we will just have to disagree on, even videos can carry viruses.
